In the limited trial version the Parameter settings are already set and the Parameters are hidden in the Parameter window - I hope your broker is IC Markets for the Trial version because the Parameter values are set for IC Markets. You can try other brokers if you want - It will work if the spread is low.. You can not use the trial version (DEMO) to trade on any of your trading accounts. You can only do Backtesting. Apply these settings: AUD/USD. 1 minute chart. Candlesticks. Tick Data (accurate). The DEMO Trial version is only Optimized for the performance of the last 2 years! For the period before 2021 I would need to optimize it first, so do not run Backtesting before 2021. Before you ask; Yes the real unlimited cBot works from 2016 to 2023 quite well in Backtesting - I am running the Optimization program right now (This might take some months, but I have already found good results)
500% profit (low risk), 800% (medium risk) to 1400% profit (high risk) in 1 Year backtesting.
I Optimized it for AUD/USD - 1 minute chart (IC Markets broker). You can try other currencies - for now I have found the best performance on aud/usd.

If you decide to buy my cBot, you will get the real cBot but the code will be hidden. This is good, so you won't accidently change or delete something in the code. The cBot is built with success 'Build succeeded'. It has no errors or warnings. You just add an instance / currency pair.

It took me many months to create this cBot. And it took me many months to find a currency, time frame and best Parameter settings - Optimization program is very slow so I was running it for months. For those who don't have much idea about trading robots cBots.. Yes, I used the starting balance 100 EUR. This just shows it is a great cBot because I didn't blow the account on 0.02 Lot. You can chose the Starting balance 1000 eur or 5000 eur, 100.000 EUR or as much as you want or in us dollars or whatever currency you have your trading account in. You can even start with 50 EUR or 50 USD if you want and set the cBot to trade 0.01 Lot.
It opens about 1 or 2 trades a day if you use it on aud/usd M1 time frame.

Since I can't edit my post.. I tried to make a new cBot with a free sample code and my email in the code and Build it with source code. The email is not written in the cBot code. I don't know why..
The cBot in this post is only a free sample from cTrader so don't bother to Download it and try it to do any trades!

Sorry but I can't answer the questions how exactly the cBot works. What is the logic of the cBot to open and close positions. This is why I hide the code. But this does not matter to you, since you have the parameters in the Parameter Window and you can Optimize it and backtest it as much as you want and however you want.

I am trying to make a trial version these days. - The trial feature for my cBot, and it will stop trading after the trial period is over or the maximum profit is reached.
I will try make a version to work only in the backtesting for you to test it first.
