Thanks!! Will check it out !

Hi afhacker, how are the % change for each symbol calculated in this indicator ? It appears to be measuring the % change for each bar.

It would be more useful if you could enter a "start" date - so that all securities being compared against each other have a reference period to be indexed against ?

i.e. Compare USDJPY with EURUSD with EURGBP from 1 January 2017 to today. -5%, +3%, +3% etc.

@suradi

The bars date / time is based on your main chart, It shows how much price of a security changed based on % during that main chart bar date / time,

The way you want it will fully seperate the indicator provided data from main chart and it will be not possible to know the exact date / time of each line point that is possible now by looking at main chart bars open time.

Switch to daily chart and you will see each day comparison.

Hi @afhacker ,

My idea of comparison is to compare the relationship between symbols over a specified time, rather than compare % change for symbols on a daily basis.

@suradi

We added a new parameter that will allow you to sum the symbol percenatge change and see how much it changed from start of main chart first bar to latest bar.

@suradi

Start and end date / time parameters added and you can now compare specific time period instead of whole series.

Hi @afhacker

This is looking really good - just want to show you i dont think the symbol percentage change for a fixed period is working properly ? As you can see, i want to see the cumulative % change for SPX500 vs USDJPY from 1 Jan 2017 to 1 May 2017 ; but the indicator is showing +86% for SPX and +15% for USDJPY. Have i got these parameter settings correct ?

@suradi

Disable "Total Comparison" parameter if you want to use Fixed Date / Time Comparison.
