@master list of all brokers offering cTrader/cAlgo...:  29 May 2018, 16:33

I was wondering if there was a master list of all brokers that offer your platform? Or like a directory of some sort of brokers currently licensed to offer your software.

I saw on Spotware.com there was a list of featured brokers, but no list of all brokers (directory)

Thanks.

@import tick data for market replay or backtesting:  14 Dec 2013, 10:33

We need ability to load custom tick data in csv or other simple format where we can specify the columns of data during the import. Also, the backtest or market replay should have ability to use the real spread based on tick-by-tick or millisecond bid/ask info if available. Otherwise the user has to specify the avg spread or min/max spread manually.
Not sure why metaquotes, Spotware, etc make this so difficult in 2013. You are still writing trading software with 1990 limitations.

We are not planning this for the time being, maybe in the future.  We advise you to use a VPS located in London. You can find our recommended VPS providers here.

There are quite a .few brokers/liquidity providers are in or nearby new york city.  Is there any particular reason for limiting your platform rollout to London-only?

I wouldnt want to be limited to one city only, even if it was new york city.

@Moving to UTC time instead of server time:  08 Dec 2013, 07:27

So why isn't spotware allowing the broker to choose its own server time?  Doesn't the broker have a choice in what time is displayed in the platform?

I actually preferred the UTC +2/3 so that all trading times start at 00:00:00 Monday and finish 23:59:59 on Friday of every week.

I was always curious why cAlgo/cTrader is limited to London hosting facilities.  Is it possible to host cTrader in New York City financial district?

Do you have an ETA on tick data testing?

We cannot provide an ETA but it is planned.

can you go into more details as to why tick data backtesting wasn't considered from the start of cAlgo development?  I find it hard to believe that a modern trading package post-metatrader 4 is limited to 1 minute data bars for testing strategies.

This applies to both indicator and cBots.  How are these things protected?

Is it possible to include dll files with the robot or indicator when distributing it over the cAlgo network?  Or do they have to be distributed manually?
