Is there a way to make this ribbon "filled" to look like a cloud? There are filled ribbon MA's for MT4 can you make one like that for cTrader and post it on this forum in the near future?

Thank you for that suggestion oguti!

That is a great idea! You see, it's ideas like these that will make trading software more efficient, complete and well-rounded.

We as traders don't need any more useless "indicators" or "robots" or any other thing that takes our minds away from the movement of price or makes us lazy.

What we do need are useful tools and better ways to improve our workflow and usage of our applications in general to make better decisions and keep us focused on making money and growing our capital :)

Final Revision Because I Do Not See A Way To Delete My Previous Posts...LOL!

Let's say I want to enter a quantity of 8 separate Pending BUY Stop orders at a Lot/Volume size of 0.20 each on the GBP/NZD pair as quickly as possible.

The order menu could display something like this below. This would be similar to the Advanced Take Profit feature inside of cTrader but even more customizable:

"Customizable Multiple Order Entry Menu"

  • Instrument Type = FOREX
  • Instrument/FX Pair Name = GBP/NZD
  • Order Type = Market, Pending Stop, Limit, OCO [Pending Stop Orders Selected]
  • Order Direction For Set of Trades = BUY OR SELL [BUY Selected]
  • Lot/Volume Size of Each Order = 0.20 [20,000 Units]
  • All Orders at Same Entry Price = Yes OR No [Yes Selected]
  • Entry Price For All Orders = 2.0250
  • Total Quantity of Orders Entered {Enter 1-50 Orders} = 8  [Set Custom Entry Prices if No was chosen above including T/P's and S/L's here]
    • Order #01 Entry Price = 2.0250   |   T/P In Pips OR Price = 55 Pips   |   S/L In Pips OR Price = At Price 0.0000
    • Order #02 Entry Price = 2.0250   |   T/P In Pips OR Price = 55 Pips   |   S/L In Pips OR Price = At Price 0.0000
    • Order #03 Entry Price = 2.0250   |   T/P In Pips OR Price = 111 Pips  |   S/L In Pips OR Price = At Price 0.0000

@Here's How to Get Your cTrader ID or cTID to Finally Work!:  24 Sep 2014, 19:49

Hi Traders,

Now I know many of you have probably been scratching your head trying to figure out how to get your cTrader ID (cTID) to actually work because the sign-up process was not really intuitive and very confusing.

What I found out was that the cTID is actually the same thing as your cTDN Forum usernam and password! So if you need to sign-up for another one because your brain has been totally confused, just go back to the main ctdn.com Home Page and click on the Forum tab and create a new unique cTDN Forum account.

Once you get this working you should be able to save all of your custom Templates (which also save the chart time frame when you save them) and Workspace Setups!

Read my post at this link for more details on the process to see if you can get it to work for you. I gave step by step instructions so let me know if it works for you okay.

Here's the link here {Post #4}:

/forum/ctrader-support/3555?page=1#4

As a side note:

So far, I have only tried this for the Web version of cTrader (or cTrader Web) and it works. I have linked two separate accounts. One from the standard Spotware cTrader and the other cTrader from my broker account at MB Trading.

But I have yet to try it on the Desktop version of the cTrader application.

@how to change password in cTID?:  24 Sep 2014, 19:33

Hi sprex,

Okay here is what I did to get my cTID to work because I was having much difficulty with getting it to work for me too...LOL!

1. First make sure to go to the main cTDN Home page then click on the Forum Tab --->>> http://www.ctdn.com

2. My problem was that I never signed up for a cTDN Forum account first, so if you need to do that again just go and create a unique account in the cTDN Forum section.

3. After creating your CTDN Forum account with unique username and password, they will send you a verification code to your e-mail address that you use with one of your cTrader Desktop or cTrader Web accounts. Your Forum username and password will be what you enter for your cTID inside of cTrader Web. This is different from your seven digit or eight digit account login and four digit account password!

4. After you complete all of those things open up cTrader Web and first login to one of your accounts. (At this stage make sure to use your seven or eight digit account number and your four digit password for one of your trading accounts).

5. Now, in order to link your cTDN Forum username and cTID to your Trading account click on the Workspaces tab and on the Login Tab clear those two fields. Now enter your same name that you use here at the Forum. So, for you, you should be able to enter "sprex" as your cTrader ID and then enter the same password that you use for this Forum and click Login and it should work! I know it's confusing and the CTrader team needs to make the cTID sign-up easier to understand because it took me forever to figure it out!

6. Now you should see your username "sprex" in the top right corner of cTrader Web. Hover over your username and there you can change the password if you like. I do not know if this works for the cTrader desktop version yet but it does work for cTrader Web.

7. You can link other cTrader accounts if you use different cTrader applications from different brokers and link them all under your same cTDN Forum username "sprex". Just login to your other broker cTrader apps and click Workspaces, then enter your username "sprex" and your Forum password and then when you hover over your username in the top right corner you will see multiple accounts where it says "Linked Accounts".

7. Now you can save your custom Chart Templates and Workspaces and Load them whenever and however you like I guess :)
