These options are already there. Just change the color options:

That's on desktop too, but not on mobile yet.

Trading:

We need to have a multi-chart mode.

You should explain this a bit more on what you expect from this, because @Spotware will come back and say, "there's already a multi-chart mode", which there is if you click here:

That's on desktop, but not on mobile.

@Suggestions for mobile and desktop:  29 May 2023, 01:44

Trading:

1:

We need to have your last stoploss and take profit settings automatically saved in the order panel and chart trading feature.

Lotsize already has this, but stoploss and take profit settings still do not. It always resets to the standard settings and now you always have to adjust it over and over again. It's very annoying.

2:

We need to have the current spread shown in the create order panel.

3:

We need to have your current total account balance shown in the create order panel and chart trading feature.

4:

We need to have a display of total costs for opening a position in the create order panel and chart trading feature.

5:

We need to have an account balance percentage display in the quick trade mode.

6:

We need to have an account balance percentage display in the chart trading feature.

7:

We need to have a chart trading feature that shows the amount of pips as percentage too.

8:

We need to be able to move like all stoplosses and take profits to a price you prefer at the same time.

9:

We need to have advanced take profits right here aswell and without being online.

10:

We need to have a display that says what your average price is of a ticker, how much percentage is needed to break-even, and a feature to move a stoploss to this break-even point automatically with one click.

Charting Tools/Analysis:

1:

We need to have a clearer and advanced crosshair information display in the chart.

It is not clear immediately what high, low, open and close are. Additional details like volume, price and percentage changes are also missing and that needs to be here.

2:

We need to have a volume display with adjustable moving average types that you can display underneath the main chart.

3:

We need to be able to add indicators on indicators.

4:

We need to be able to make alerts on indicators, drawings, calender events, etc.

5:

We need to have times and sales with size filters.

6:

We need to have an automatic risk/reward display in the order panel and chart trading feature when stoploss and take profit are both or have been set.

7:

We need to have the same measure tool that has been added in the desktop version recently. A really nice one.

8:

We need to have an option to display a countdown to bar close in the chart.

9:

We need to have a volume profile.

10:

We need to be able to show different timeframes on indicators that are different than the main chart timeframe.

11:

We need to have a multi-chart mode.

12:

We need to have names added or shown under all drawing tools, chart types, etc.

13:

That arrow to go back at the left top in the chart is unnecessary, because you can already do this by pressing the touchscreen buttons at the bottom of your phone screen. It makes the chart messy for something that is not even necessary.

Watchlist/Symbol Details:

1:

We need to have a current day volume display.

2:

We need to have filters in a watchlist.

For instance, being able to sort from low to high and high to low for gainers, decliners, volume, etc.

3:

We need to be able to remove that standard watchlist.

4:

We need to have a day range display and a 52 weak range display.

5:

We need to have a price performance history display for week, month, quarter, half year, 1 year, ytd, 5 year and all-time.

6:

We need to have a trend or market sentiment overview based on for instance technical indicators.

Other Things:

1:

We need to have an automatic platform synchronization between all platforms.

2:

We also need to have filters in the calender, including for instance volatility, countries, etc.

3:

We need to have a percentage display of your current total account profit or loss and for all individual closed  transactions.

4:

We need to have more news sources in blotter.

5:

We need to have more customization options. For instance, changing colors of candlesticks, grid lines, etc.

Hopefully all suggestions could and will be implemented. That would be great and really appreciated!

Thanks a lot!

Yes, I agree.

If Spotware wants to get on the same level as TradingView, ProRealTime, etc, and destroy Metatrader permanent, platform sync between every application is a must.

I don't know why they keep saying this is not possible while meanwhile TradingView and ProRealTime for instance are literally both having it.

I agree as well with what you said. Another example that's "kicking butt" is the mobile version of ThinkTrader from ThinkMarkets.

For regular time based bar charts, it's one of the best and easiest to use mobile platforms out there... I use it more than the cTrader mobile because even simple things like getting sorting history correct (issue raised here) appears to be problematic for Spotware on the mobile platform.

Oh, I never realized this until you mentioned it.

I only use cTrader mobile to place and manage trades. That chart trading feature is really nice! I can't lie about that, but so many things in mobile are still sloppy and inaccurate.

However, desktop for sure is a lot more professional and better, but a lot of basic and important features are still missing here aswell. For instance, a risk/reward tool and it also has been suggested by so many people over the years, but they still decide to spend time on things that I wouldn't even consider a higher priority.

I use TradingView mobile and Pepperstone charts within TradingView for forex or ProRealTime mobile for charting and analysis, because they are better compared to cTrader mobile for this. Although, I like to use cTrader mobile for charting and analysis in the future too, because switching platforms over and over again is not convenient.

Still Ctrader is not bad and amazing in a few specific things, but overall a lot of things needs to be done to change this platform from average to outstanding.

Combine the cTrader desktop development team with the cTrader web team to create a single super-platform.
Both platforms have merits that the other one lacks. By combining their respective development teams into one team, they could merge the two cTrader into a single product, selecting only the best that the two platforms have to give, and discarding the rest.
In this way we would have a single super-platform consisting only of the best solutions derived from the two cTrader.

I find this to be the biggest issue with CT. any updates ?

You're not the only one. 256 others do too.

As far as I know, this won't come, because someone said it's not possible to implement it within cTrader and why TradingView has it and meanwhile it's not possible to do it here, no idea.

I like a lot of your suggestions. However, given the limited screen size of phones, I suppose to what end are the majority of traders using mobile vs a laptop/desktop for their primary trading operations?

For instance, I'm curious why you think it's "high priority" to manage cbots through the mobile app itself? Since cBots run on the specific computer they are installed on, your mobile device would have to connect back to that computer (through cTrader) and be able to take control of the cbot on that computer. And there would be a lag doing so. Basically, it would be just as efficient right now to install Microsoft's "remote desktop" application on your mobile device, "remote desktop" back to your computer with the cBot installed, and control it remotely that way. That's what I do anyway -- to connect to my VPS where I have cBots running.

I don't know how many active users mobile and desktop are having in reality of course, but it does make sense to me that mobile is even more popular, because of how small like an active day trader group is in comparison to people who are always on the go, at work, etc.

@Great and important suggestions to improve cTrader mobile:  20 Mar 2023, 01:03

1:

It needs to be possible to have a crosshair information display that is easier to read and more detailed. I mean it is not very clear and easy to see what is open, close, high and low right now immediately.

It should be something like this as shown below.

O: 5
H: 6
L: 4
C: 7
+1 (+0,30%)
-1 (-0,30%
Vol: 25.000k

And it should change colors based on the candlestick colors. The desktop version need this too, and also change in pips and percentage.

2:

It needs to be possible to have a volume display based on candlestick colors like green and red with an adjustable moving average.

It needs to be possible to see this in the all indicators menu aswell. So you will be able to have it displayed in a seperate window under the main chart.

3:

It needs to be possible to have a volume profile, times and sales with size filters, order flow analysis, automatic support and resistance lines, automatic trendlines, etc.

4:

It needs to be possible to have a risk/reward tool or a risk/reward display in the order panel and chart trading feature when like stoploss and take profit are both established.

5:

It needs to be possible to have the same measure tool that has been added in the desktop version recently. This measure tool in the desktop version is really nice!

6:

It needs to be possible to have an account balance percentage display in the chart trading feature aswell.

7:

It needs to be possible to add indicators on indicators.

8:

It needs to be possible to set alerts on indicators, trendlines, calender, etc.

9:

It needs to be possible to have a multi-chart mode.

10:

It needs to be possible to have a countdown to bar close option as like in TradingView.

11:

It needs to be possible to show timeframes on indicators other than the chart timeframe.

12:

It needs to be possible to have your last stoploss and take profit settings saved automatically.

Last lotsize is already saved automatically, but unfortunately your last stoploss and take profit settings are still not.

It always resets to the standard settings right now. At the moment you always have to set it over and over again every single time. It is very annoying!

13:

It needs to be possible to move multiple take profits and stoplosses at the same time instead of doing it individually for each position.

14:

It needs to be possible to have more real-time stats for each trading symbol in the watchlist.

For instance, close and open, current total volume for each day, day range display, a 52 weak range display, client sentiment, price performance for specific periods, etc.

15:

It needs to be possible to have more timeframes options for spark charts.

16:

It needs to be possible to have a watchlist with filters.

For instance, sorting by change, sorting by change in percentage, sorting by volume, sorting by symbol, sorting by last price, etc.

17:

It needs to be possible to have a percentage display for total current profits or losses.

18:

It needs to be possible to remove that standard watchlist. Very annoying!

19:

It needs to be possible to have more filter options in cTrader copy.

For instance, max balance drawdown, win/rate, profit factor, etc.

20:

It needs to be possible to have all the same information about strategies in cTrader copy as like in the desktop version. Stuff like max balance drawdown are not displayed in here.

21:

It needs to be possible to have names added or shown under all drawing tools, chart types, etc. Not very clear and easy to see immediately what is what right now.

22:

It needs to be possible to have more news sources. The biggest news sources or the most important ones are not in here yet.

23:

It needs to be possible to have a dark theme for the android version.

24:

It needs to be possible to have more customization options.

For instance, changing colors of candlesticks, grid lines, line seperators, crosshair, etc.

Hopefully these suggestions will and could be implemented. That would be great!

Thanks a lot in advance!
