XAUUSD scalping is very short-term trading that targets small gold moves, often closing positions within a few minutes. Bots for it apply quick entries with tight stop-loss and take-profit rules, using inputs you set and running only when you start them.
Scalpers commonly focus on the London session and its overlap with New York, when gold liquidity is deepest and spreads are usually tightest. A time filter can block entries in thin hours, such as around the daily rollover, when spreads widen and fills get worse.
Compare them with gold's usual range on your timeframe and with the spread, because a target only a few times the spread leaves little room for costs. Check whether sizes are fixed or scale with ATR, and how the bot defines a pip, since gold price digits differ between brokers.
US jobs, inflation and Federal Reserve announcements can move gold sharply within seconds, widening spreads and causing slippage that erases a small target or overshoots a tight stop. Check whether a bot pauses around scheduled releases, because a few bad fills can undo many small gains.
