On a cautious test, The first pass can stay at small. 2 higher timeframe candles feels enough, and 3 percent DD would be my limit before changing settings. Worth rechecking it on H1 bias.

For trend filtering, the practical value is in cleaner decisions. A 110 setup run on daily close should show if it helps or just adds noise.
