A trade copier watches positions on a source account and opens, modifies and closes matching ones on target accounts under rules you set. It is a technical replication tool for accounts you control, for example to mirror a demo and a live account or to keep several of your own accounts in step.
Because a copier that relays trades through shared files or a web service usually has to run as a local instance, which stops whenever cTrader closes. Cloud instances are isolated and send no HTTP requests, which is why some product pages mention a VPS, a remote computer that keeps cTrader open around the clock.
A symbol named differently at the target broker can make a copy fail or land on the wrong instrument, and a wrong multiplier can open oversized trades. Map every symbol and test between two demo accounts first, checking that closes and stop changes copy too, since every copied position is your own responsibility.
Only partly, because a netting account holds one net position per symbol, so opposite trades from a hedging source get merged instead of copied one for one. Check which account types each product supports, and compare how it treats partial closes, pending orders and differences between brokers.
They can, since rules on trade copying differ by country and brokers attach their own terms, so check both before linking accounts. A copier here is software that replicates orders between accounts you set up; cTrader Store does not arrange, manage or vouch for any copying arrangement.
