Hello everyone! Today I want to walk you through exactly how to use our exclusive tool, the AlgoTrend cTrader Analyzer.

⚠️ IMPORTANT WARNING BEFORE WE START: For this tool to work, your cBot's code must include the "Analyzer" code section. Without this modification, the test will not work because cTrader won't generate the necessary data for our app. If you have a cBot and want to analyze it, you can request the modification for any cBot by contacting us. We will take care of inserting the necessary code.

This tool was created for a specific purpose: to analyze the performance of your algorithmic trading in detail by leveraging this special function. The goal isn't just to find the parameters that make the most money, but to find the robustness of the strategy over time.

Often on cTrader, we stop at "Net Profit," but that's not enough. With our Analyzer, you can visualize advanced metrics (like bell curves, probability of profit, and stability across days of the week) directly from the optimization data exported from the platform.

Here is how to do it:

1. Export Data from cTrader
The first step is generating the data.

Open cTrader and go to the Automate section.

Select your cBot (which must have the Analyzer modification installed) and run an Optimization.

Once the optimization is finished, do not close anything. You need to go and get the folder containing the results.

Usually, the default path is: C:\Users\User\Documents\cAlgo\Data\cBots\

Look for the folder with your cBot's name, and inside you will find the optimization data.

2. Upload Data to AlgoTrend Analyzer
Go to our webpage:

You will find an upload area.

Select the entire folder you found in the previous step and confirm.

The app will automatically process all files to generate a comprehensive report.

3. Interpreting the Results (The Dynamic Trendline Pro Case)
This is where it gets interesting. Once the data is uploaded, you will see a Dashboard. Let me give you a practical example. Look what happens when I upload an optimization run from one of our flagship products, the Dynamic Trendline Pro cBot.

Looking at the attached images, here is what the data tells us:

Prob. of Profit: Look at the result: 100.0%. This means that in this optimization, every single parameter combination tested ended in profit. This is a sign of extreme robustness.

Profit Factor: An astronomical value (over 78,000), suggesting that losses were practically non-existent during the test period.

Weekday Performance: The blue bar chart shows us that profit is stable and consistent across all days of the week (Tuesday, Friday, Sunday). There are no "black days" to avoid.

Profit Distribution (The Bell Curve): In the "Bell Curve" chart, you only see a green bar on the right. This means there were no losing parameter sets (red bars on the left). All results are concentrated in the profit zone.

4. The Real Revolution: AI Insight (Analysis with Gemini)
And here we are at the most important part, the one that truly makes the difference.

In the bottom right of the dashboard, you will find the "AI Insight" box. What is it for? Simple: it integrates Google Gemini's Artificial Intelligence directly into the analysis to give you an expert opinion.

Important: To activate this magic, you need to enter your own Gemini API Key. Don't worry, it's super easy and free:

Go to Google AI Studio.

Click on the "Get API key" menu on the left.

Copy the key, go back to our Analyzer, and paste it into the dedicated box.

Once done, by clicking the "Generate Report" button, the AI reads all the complex numbers and gives you a clear, professional text verdict, telling you if the strategy is truly robust or just lucky.

5. The Acid Test
Do you want to see the real results of so many strategies we often believe to be profitable? Look at this strategy here (referring to the failed strategy shown earlier). I thought it had some perfect optimizations, it looked promising, but instead...

...it was a disaster. The deep data revealed it was too risky.
