IMPORTANT:
The default parameter configuration is optimized for EURUSD on the M15 timeframe, providing a balanced demonstration of Isabelle’s core logic and behavior.

However, Isabelle is fully compatible with all currency pairs, commodities, and indices.
For best performance, parameters such as grid step, target profit, volatility pause, and filter settings should be adjusted to match the symbol’s volatility and trading characteristics.

Recovery-focused session:
Enable Auto Recovery after N positions, choose a reduced target behavior, and rely on visuals (BE/TP lines + panel) to supervise.

Risk reminder

Isabelle is a powerful tool. If misconfigured or used with high leverage, grid trading can produce large drawdowns or catastrophic losses. Always forward-test in demo, size conservatively, and use the filters/timing controls and recovery features thoughtfully.

Identity / Licensing

• CBot Label (default: Isabelle.v6.0.0) — Identifier used to group all positions and history for this instance. Change when running multiple copies.
• License Key — Required only for licensed builds (not used in demo or full test builds).

Trade Parameters

• Seed Buy (default: ON) — Automatically open the first BUY position when trading conditions allow.
• Seed Sell (default: ON) — Automatically open the first SELL position when trading conditions allow.
• Start Time (UTC) (default: 00:00) — Earliest time the bot is allowed to open new positions.
• End Time (UTC) (default: 23:59) — Latest time the bot is allowed to open new positions.
• Max Orders (default: 1000) — Maximum number of open positions per side (BUY or SELL).
• Volume (lots) (default: 0.02) — Initial lot size for the first position on each side.
• Lots Multiplier (default: 1.01) — Growth factor for each additional grid order (1.0 = fixed size).
• Max Volume (lots) (default: 0.04) — Maximum allowable lot size per single order (after multiplier).
• Target Profit (points) (default: 150) — Distance from weighted breakeven to take-profit activation (10 points ≈ 1 pip on most symbols).

Pause Parameters

• Pause Between Orders (minutes) (default: 0) — Base cooldown per side between grid orders; can be modified by dynamic pause logic.

Dynamic Pause (Volatility Adaptive)

• StdDev Period (default: 0) — Lookback period for the Standard Deviation used to adapt pause duration (0 = disabled).
• StdDev TimeFrame (default: Hour) — Timeframe for volatility sampling.
• Min Pause (minutes) (default: 20) — Minimum adaptive pause when volatility is low.
• Max Pause (minutes) (default: 240) — Maximum adaptive pause when volatility is high.

Filter Parameters (All Optional)

• Apply Filters (default: Auto + Recovery) — Controls when filters (CoG, RSI, MA, BB) are applied. Manual orders are never filtered.
• CoG Period (default: 0, 0 = off) — Requires the Center of Gravity (CoG) to slope in the trade direction (Buy = up-slope; Sell = down-slope).

RSI Filter

• RSI Period (default: 0, 0 = off) — Enables RSI-based filtering.
• RSI TimeFrame (default: Hour) — Timeframe used for RSI calculations.
• RSI Upper Level (default: 55) — Sell entries allowed only if RSI ≥ this level (when filter active).
• RSI Lower Level (default: 45) — Buy entries allowed only if RSI ≤ this level (when filter active).

Bollinger Band Filter

• BB Period (default: 0, 0 = off) — Period for Bollinger Band filter.
• BB TimeFrame (default: Hour) — Timeframe used for Bollinger Band calculation.
• BB StdDev (default: 2.0) — Standard deviation factor for band width.
• BB MA Type (default: Simple) — Moving average type used in the Bollinger Band.
• BB Mode (default: MidlineTrend) — Filter mode determining how Bollinger Bands influence trade direction.

Multi-MA Trend Filters

• MA Type (for all) (default: Hull) — Moving average type applied to all three MA filters below.

MA1 Filter

• MA1 Period (default: 50) — First moving average period (0 = off).
• MA1 TimeFrame (default: Minute15) — Timeframe for MA1.
• MA1 Invert (default: True) — Inverts MA1 rule: BUY if price ≤ MA1, SELL if price ≥ MA1.

MA2 Filter

• MA2 Period (default: 200) — Second moving average period (0 = off).

• Lower Profit Target (default: No) — Defines how the target profit adjusts during recovery:

Getting Started (Quick Recipe)

The default parameters are optimized for EURUSD on the M15 timeframe — ideal for initial testing and familiarization.

1. Backtest your symbol using the default settings with Seed Buy/Sell = ON.
2. • Start with conservative Volume and reasonable Max Orders to control exposure.
2. Set a Step value and enable Dynamic Pause with practical Min/Max Pause limits to adapt to market volatility.
3. Add RSI and/or CoG filters if you want to introduce directional bias and reduce overtrading.
4. Choose between Fixed TP and Virtual Trailing:
