This cBot is a demonstration trading robot created with AlgoBuilderX for the cTrader platform, designed to operate on demo accounts only. It implements a strategy based on the Alligator indicator, which uses three lines—jaw (blue), teeth (red), and lips (green)—to identify market trends. The bot triggers buy signals when the jaw is below the teeth and the teeth below the lips, anticipating an upward crossover as the price crosses all three lines from top to bottom. Conversely, sell signals occur when the jaw is above the teeth and the teeth above the lips, expecting a downward crossover with the price crossing all three lines from top to bottom. The strategy features four levels of take profit (TP) to manage exits. This example was built quickly using just 10 blocks in AlgoBuilderX’s drag-and-drop interface, illustrating the platform’s ease of use for creating, testing, and deploying automated trading strategies without coding. The project file is available for import, editing, and export via the AlgoBuilderX workspace and Discord channel. This cBot serves as a starting point for custom strategy development and is not optimized for live trading. Users should thoroughly test and optimize any strategy before live implementation.
