ECFX XAU Prop Core R13
Multi-strategy gold trading with configurable engines, automated trade management and shared equity controls.
ECFX XAU Prop Core R13 brings four trading engine groups together in one cTrader cBot. Built for XAUUSD, it combines range-based setups, session strategies, momentum, breakouts and trend trading within a single configurable system.
Each engine group can be enabled or disabled independently, allowing you to choose which approaches participate. The enabled engines share account equity and margin, while retaining their own entry rules, sizing settings and trade management.
Four complementary engine groups
Engine A — Range and price structure
Uses price levels and market structure across multiple timeframes to identify potential entries. Its configurable strategies cover longer-horizon levels, swing setups and shorter-term opportunities.
Controls include entry offsets, stop and target distances, pending-order expiry, level spacing, position limits, break-even management and trailing stops. Optional fakeout and regime filters provide additional entry and exit conditions.
Engine B — Session strategies
Uses defined trading windows, session ranges and momentum conditions to organise its trading activity.
Settings include session timing, entry cutoffs, holding periods, scheduled exits, spread filtering and position sizing. Individual session components can be selected separately.
Engine C — Portfolio strategies
Combines trend, breakout and momentum modules within an additional portfolio layer.
Depending on the selected module, trading conditions use moving averages, volatility measurements, price zones and market structure. Available controls include ATR-based stops, break-even and trailing management, pending-order expiry, holding limits, entry limits and margin caps.
Engine D — Core, expansion and trend strategies
Combines candle-based core entries with optional profit-boost, H1 expansion and trend modules.
Controls include directional trading switches, entry-hour windows, weekday filters, volatility and candle-quality conditions, maximum holding periods and scheduled exits. Additional sizing options include equity scaling, drawdown-based size reductions and maximum lot limits.
Features operate according to the enabled modules and their individual settings.
Layered risk and equity controls
Prop Core R13 includes a shared account guard alongside engine-specific controls.
The account guard supports USD reference tiers of $10,000, $25,000, $50,000, $100,000 and $200,000. Its default internal brakes are 4.5% daily and 9% overall, measured against the selected initial-capital reference.
The daily guard uses a Prague-midnight balance reference and observes account equity, including floating profit and loss. When a guard threshold is reached, it blocks new entries and attempts to cancel the bot’s pending orders and close its positions. Daily locks follow the Prague-day reset logic; overall loss locks do not automatically reset.
A separate shared portfolio breaker monitors drawdown from peak equity. Its threshold and the shared new-order size multiplier are configurable.
Selecting an account tier sets the account-guard reference. Engine lot sizes, risk inputs and scaling settings must also be checked separately.
These controls are intervention mechanisms, not guaranteed loss ceilings. Price gaps, slippage and execution delays can cause losses to exceed a configured threshold.
Automated trade management
Across the available engines, configurable management features include:
- Stop-loss and take-profit placement.
- Break-even triggers and profit locks.
- Trailing stops and selected dynamic target adjustments.
- Pending-order expiry, cancellation and refresh rules.
- Spread, margin and exposure checks.
- Session, weekday and maximum-holding-time controls.
Trading frequency varies with market conditions, enabled strategies and filters. The bot may remain inactive while entry conditions are unmet or a risk lock is active.
Clear on-chart monitoring
The shared dashboard brings trading statistics and operating information onto the chart, supported by a coordinated teal, gold and charcoal theme.
Display options include panel scaling, positioning, a compact layout and overlays for position levels and optional pending-order levels. Diagnostic logging is available for reviewing configuration, trading activity and guard events.
Setup and configuration
Use XAUUSD on M5 as the starting chart configuration, with a USD-denominated account. The portfolio engine requires a hedging account for independent positions.
Before starting, review:
- Enabled engines and strategy switches.
- Lot sizes, risk references and scaling options.
- Shared and engine-specific equity controls.
- Broker symbol specifications, point sizes and trading costs.
- Strategy clock offsets and session windows.
- The execution mode for the intended account.
The optional NFP filter uses configured dates or an approximate first-Friday schedule. It does not connect to a live economic-calendar feed.
Designed for informed supervision
ECFX XAU Prop Core R13 gives traders a configurable framework for automated gold trading, combining several approaches with visible operating information and layered controls.
It does not guarantee profits, challenge completion or compliance with a prop firm’s rules. Confirm that your chosen configuration suits your broker, account and trading requirements, and evaluate it on demo before committing capital.
Trading leveraged products involves substantial risk of loss.
