MonsterHunt 2.9.4 V is an advanced NAS100 trading bot designed for the M5 timeframe. It was built as a structured execution system that combines higher-timeframe directional filtering, market regime evaluation, multi-layer entry confirmation, and rule-based position management. Backtests were performed in cTrader using broker server tick data on a hedging account with 1:30 leverage. Balanced, Aggressive, and Conservative were tested over 23 06 2025 to 21 04 2026, while the selected Safe report was tested over 23 06 2025 to 21. 4 2026.
Overview
MonsterHunt 2.9.4 V is not based on a single simple trigger. The bot first builds a higher-timeframe direction window and checks whether the current M5 setup is aligned with that bias. It can require alignment from multiple higher timeframes, use H1 and H4 context, and distinguish between trending and ranging market conditions through H4 regime filters based on slope relative to ATR and moving-average spread relative to ATR. Only after those conditions are satisfied does it move to entry execution.
Entry logic
The main M5 execution logic is built around two entry modes, Cross and Pullback Reclaim. Before opening a trade, the bot can validate directional alignment with the active HTF window, compatibility between the setup and the current H4 regime, price position relative to the moving averages, candle close on the correct side of the averages through the Close-Side Filter, minimum EMA and SMA separation through the Min EMA-SMA Separation Filter, volume confirmation through the Volume Filter, breakout of the signal candle through Signal Bar Break, and a final validation on the actual entry candle through Recheck on Entry Bar. In practice, this means the system checks market context first, then setup quality, and only after that confirms the actual execution point.
Position management
The bot uses risk-based position sizing, which means volume can be adjusted according to stop loss distance and selected risk level. Take profit can be calculated using Reward-to-Risk logic. The system also supports BreakEven, Partial Close, Trailing, funded-account protection settings, blocked trading hours, cooldown after trades, and startup preset diagnostics through the Preset Integrity log. This makes the execution model more controlled and easier to track when switching between profiles.
Adaptive framework
The architecture also includes an adaptive learning and scoring framework. In the code, this layer supports Learning Mode, adaptive score gating, score-based risk scaling, planner-based management adjustments, trade outcome classification, diagnostics, and optional learning-state persistence. This gives advanced users additional room for refinement without removing the ready-to-use preset structure.
Strategy profiles
Balanced is the default starting profile. It is intended to provide the most universal balance between execution quality, stability, and trade frequency. It is the main preset for users who want a ready-to-use profile without moving immediately into more aggressive or more defensive settings.
Aggressive is a more active execution profile designed for users who want a higher level of activity and a more offensive trading style. It is based on the same core structure, but it is intended for traders who prefer a more assertive profile rather than the default balanced setup.
Safe is the calmer preset with a more defensive character. In the selected Safe version, the profile uses Equity as the risk basis, 0.8 percent risk, Reward-to-Risk 1.2, BreakEven enabled at 1R with an additional 0.4 pip offset, Partial Close enabled at 1R with 75 percent close size, funded-account protection enabled, blocked trading hours, force-close protection, and cooldown control. This profile is intended for users who want a smoother and more protected execution style.
Conservative is the most protective profile in the current structure. It uses Equity as the risk basis, 0.5 percent risk, Reward-to-Risk 2.0, BreakEven enabled at 1R, Partial Close enabled at 1R with 75 percent close size, funded limits enabled with 3 percent daily loss limit and 6 percent total loss limit, and a daily profit cap set to 1 percent. It is designed for traders who want lower risk and more protective trade handling.
Who this bot is for
MonsterHunt 2.9.4 V is best suited for traders who want to trade NAS100 on M5 with a more structured and filtered execution model. It is designed for users who prefer confirmation-based entries instead of raw signal frequency, want built-in risk control and session protection, and value a strategy structure that can be used immediately through presets while still offering room for deeper refinement.
Important notes
This product is a rule-based trading tool, not a guaranteed-profit system. Actual performance can vary depending on broker conditions, spread, execution quality, account setup, and selected parameters. Proper profile selection, correct risk settings, and responsible live use remain important.
