Sentinel Swing (XAUUSD)
Sentinel Swing is a configurable cTrader cBot developed for algorithmic gold trading across M1, M5, M10, M15 and H1.
It combines nine built-in presets, visible parameters, position-sizing controls and automated trade management within a structured, rule-based framework.
Strategy Approach
Trade selection combines candlestick and momentum patterns with quality gates, confluence checks, trend filters, market-regime conditions, session controls and spread limits. Entry conditions depend on the selected configuration; the bot does not trade continuously.
Trade management includes stop-loss and profit-target construction, breakeven, trailing stops, holding-period limits and weekend controls.

M15 Balanced remains the default. Each named preset requires its matching chart timeframe and XAUUSD symbol identity. Preset names describe configurations, not safety ratings or guarantees of future performance.
Custom mode provides editable settings and permits other instruments and chart periods. Using a different instrument requires separate testing and broker-contract review.

Fixed SL/TP settings control initial protection distances. They do not disable breakeven, trailing or other exits.
Demo/Trial Package
The Trial provides the same strategy configurations while permitting new entries only on demo accounts. Desktop and Cloud execution are supported, subject to platform requirements.
Users should begin on demo, confirm the selected preset, symbol, timeframe, volume and costs, and inspect platform behaviour. Trial results do not guarantee Full-package or future outcomes.
Restart and Daily Risk Controls
Known daily loss locks remain latched for the trading day when their state can be recovered. If trusted daily state is missing, new entries pause for one hour, after which a new equity baseline is established. Existing protective management continues.
Cloud state is not durable between runs. Consequently, an earlier unrecorded daily loss breach may not survive a Cloud restart; the one-hour pause is not complete daily-lock recovery.
Setup and User Responsibilities
Use the timeframe required by your chosen preset and review all sizing, cash-cap, spread, commission, session and protection settings before use. Fixed lots do not automatically adjust to account capital.
Emergency loss caps are management triggers, not guaranteed maximum realised losses. Gaps, slippage, disconnections and rejected broker operations can exceed them. Parameter changes can materially alter behaviour and risk.
