It works as a daily loss limit and max drawdown guard: it shows how much you can still lose today and overall, projects your room after the next daily reset, sends risk alerts and, once you arm it, acts as an automatic equity stop that cancels pending orders and closes positions at your safety buffer. Why the trap happens: the daily reference resets while floating losses stay open, so the room you had at 23:59 can be gone at 00:00.

Automatic equity stop (after you arm it)

• When the room left reaches your safety buffer (20% of the daily limit by default), it cancels pending orders, then closes positions, worst first, rechecking after every broker reply.
• Minutes before the daily reset, if the projected room is below your buffer, it closes losing positions only.
• You choose the scope: the whole account, trades without label (manual trades), or one exact label.
• It re-arms after a restart only if you enable automatic arming; a second instance on the same account stays in observation.

Risk alerts

• Popup and sound alerts, and optional email, when the limit gets close, before a risky reset and when it acts.
• Local action journal.

Prop firm rules supported

• Presets: FTMO 2-Step and 1-Step, FundingPips 2-Step Standard, Pro and Flex, AquaFunded 2-Step Standard and 1-Step Flex.
• Custom rules: daily loss % of initial size or of the reset level, measured from balance or from the higher of balance and equity, static or trailing max drawdown (optionally locked at the initial size), any reset time and time zone.
• Check that your prop firm allows cBots/EAs on cTrader. Some firms do not (for example FundedNext and Alpha Capital Group): FundedOpsProtector warns and stays unarmed on those brokers.
