Strategy Type & Trading Approach
RK Sniper LITE is a trend-following cBot that uses multi-confirmation logic to filter out low-quality setups. It only trades when the higher timeframes agree on direction and at least 3 out of 4 entry conditions are met on the primary chart — making it selective by design, not reactive.
Entry Logic & Execution Behaviour
Entries are scored across four confluences: EMA cross (9/21), RSI zone validation, MACD histogram direction, and price position relative to the Bollinger Band midline. Both a medium and macro higher timeframe must show an aligned EMA trend before any trade fires. A spread filter, micro-move threshold, and cooldown timer between trades prevent overtrading during choppy or illiquid conditions. Trading is restricted to configurable session windows (New York and/or London Open).
Risk & Capital Management
Position sizing is fixed- or risk-percentage-based, the bot automatically calculates lot size from your account balance and stop-loss distance. Stop loss and take profit are set as a percentage of the entry price. Break-even protection moves the stop to entry once the price reaches a defined R-multiple. Partial close takes a portion of the position off at an earlier target while the remainder runs to full TP. A daily loss protection system monitors equity drawdown from the session's opening balance and locks all trading if your threshold is breached.
Key Parameters
EMA periods, RSI period, SL/TP percentages, HTF timeframes, spread limit, cooldown, session hours, break-even and partial TP R-multiples, risk percent, max concurrent trades, and daily loss limit are all fully configurable.
Who This Bot Is Best Suited For
Intermediate to advanced retail traders who want systematic, rule-based execution on liquid forex pairs. Well-suited for prop firm and funded account traders due to the built-in daily drawdown cap. Requires basic familiarity with cTrader parameter settings and backtesting.
Important Notes
Default parameters are a starting point. Optimisation per instrument and timeframe is strongly recommended before live deployment. Always backtest and forward test before running on a live account.
Backtest Transparency
Published backtest results were generated on Deriv using default parameters over a 14-month period (Jan 2025 – Mar 2026). ROI and drawdown figures will vary depending on instrument, broker, timeframe, and parameter configuration. Default settings are not optimised for any specific pair — users are encouraged to run their own backtests and tune parameters to match their risk tolerance and trading conditions.
