Opis
Apex CFX – NAS100 Control is a configurable trend-following cBot developed specifically for the NAS100 / Nasdaq 100 market.
Rather than using one rigid set of parameters, the cBot provides a flexible technical framework in which moving averages, RSI, ADX, entry timing, trading sessions, position management and risk controls can be configured and tested for different trading approaches.
The system does not use martingale, grid logic or automatic position increases after losses.
📊 CONFIGURABLE TREND-FOLLOWING ENGINE
The entry structure is based on three configurable exponential moving averages, combined with RSI and ADX filters.
The default values are:
• EMA Fast: 10
• EMA Mid: 20
• EMA Slow: 30
• RSI Period: 14
• ADX Period: 14
These values are not fixed requirements. Users can change the EMA periods and indicator settings, provided that the EMA order remains Fast < Mid < Slow.
Depending on the selected configuration, the cBot can evaluate:
• the initial EMA alignment
• entries shortly after the alignment
• delayed trend-continuation entries after the structure remains valid for multiple bars
• confirmation beyond the fast EMA
• optional EMA pullback entries
• optional RSI range confirmation at entry
• optional minimum ADX confirmation at entry
• optional RSI and ADX direction filters
The minimum and maximum number of bars after the EMA cross can also be configured. This allows the strategy to test both early entries and later continuation setups while the trend structure remains valid.
↕️ TRADE DIRECTION CONTROL
Trade Direction can be configured as:
• Both – allows long and short entries
• Long Only – allows long entries only
• Short Only – allows short entries only
The selected direction is checked during setup detection, standard entries, EMA pullback management and final order execution. Incompatible armed setups are reset before an order can be placed.
📈 MARKET, TIMEFRAME AND CHART COMPATIBILITY
This version is restricted to NAS100 / Nasdaq 100 symbols.
The symbol validation recognises common broker naming variations containing terms such as NAS100, US100, USTEC, NASDAQ, NASDAQ100, NDX and TECH100, including symbols with broker prefixes or suffixes.
The cBot is not hard-coded to a single timeframe or chart type. It can operate on different periods and on chart types supported by cTrader, including standard time-based charts, Renko and Heikin-Ashi.
The published presets and historical results refer to the specific testing configuration stated below. Using another timeframe, chart type, broker or parameter combination requires separate testing and adjustment.
⚙️ POSITION SIZING AND TRADE MANAGEMENT
The cBot supports:
• fixed-lot sizing
• optional fixed-risk percentage sizing
• minimum free-margin control before entry
• technical stop loss based on the slow EMA with a configurable buffer
• minimum stop-loss distance
• optional maximum stop-loss distance filter
• optional take profit
• optional break-even
• optional trailing stop
• optional partial close
• virtual take-profit safety
• missing stop-loss protection
• maximum spread filter
The default configuration uses 0.01 fixed lots. Risk-percentage sizing is disabled by default. If enabled, its default value is 1% per trade.
All sizing and risk parameters must be reviewed according to account size, leverage, symbol specifications, broker conditions and personal risk tolerance.
⏱️ SESSIONS, BLACKOUT WINDOWS AND SHUTDOWN TIME
The system includes configurable UTC trading sessions with separate ADX thresholds.
Two independent entry blackout windows are available:
• News / US Macro Entry Blackout
• US Open Entry Blackout
Each window can block new entries and reset armed setups during the selected period. An optional setting can close only the position opened by the same cBot instance when the blackout begins.
These blackout windows are manual time filters. The cBot does not connect to or interpret an external economic calendar automatically.
Shutdown Time can also be configured to close the position belonging to the same cBot instance at a selected UTC time.
🛡️ DAILY RISK PROTECTION
Daily protection tools include:
• optional stop after a configurable number of consecutive stop-loss results
• configurable Daily Drawdown Protection
• protection scope for the individual instance, the Apex CFX family or the whole account reference
• AutoReconstructed daily reference mode
• ManualReferenceEquity mode
• optional closing of Apex CFX positions when the configured daily drawdown limit is reached
AutoReconstructed mode rebuilds the current daily state from available account and trading data. ManualReferenceEquity allows advanced users to define their own daily reference value.
Daily protection settings are configurable tools and do not guarantee compliance with any broker, funded-account or prop-firm rule.
🔗 APEX CFX EXPOSURE CONTROL
Apex CFX – NAS100 Control is part of the Apex CFX ecosystem.
Each module can operate independently, while Exposure Control can help coordinate visible positions across multiple Apex CFX bots and instances.
Available controls include:
• maximum number of open Apex CFX positions
• maximum number of Apex CFX positions on the current symbol
• instance-specific position identification
• common Apex CFX family identification
Exposure Control is designed to reduce operational overlap when multiple Apex CFX modules are running. It should not be interpreted as an absolute guarantee against simultaneous entries triggered by separate instances at the exact same moment.
📌 REFERENCE PRESETS
Two reference configurations are presented:
Precision – the configuration used for the main historical backtest shown on the product page. It uses higher fixed-lot exposure.
Balance – a lower-exposure configuration relative to Precision.
The preset names describe their relative configuration within this product. They do not represent guaranteed risk levels or future performance.
Users should review every parameter before use and test the selected configuration with their own broker data and account conditions.
📉 HISTORICAL BACKTEST REFERENCE – PRECISION
The main Store performance data refers to the Precision configuration:
:
• Broker: FPM Trading
• Period: 28 July 2025 to 19 May 2026
• Chart period: M2
• Initial balance: €500
• Fixed volume: 5 lots
• Backtesting leverage: 1:200
• Net profit: €1,429.21
• Final balance: €1,929.21
• Total historical ROI: approximately 285.84%
• Store-calculated average monthly ROI: approximately 15%
• Profit factor: 5.10
• Maximum balance drawdown: 12%
This backtest used high fixed-lot exposure relative to the initial balance. It did not use the cBot’s 1% risk-per-trade setting and should not be treated as a recommended live configuration.
Historical results can vary significantly with broker symbol specifications, spread, commission, slippage, execution quality, leverage, account currency, historical data, timeframe, chart type and selected parameters.
