ACla$$ Bot
ACla$$ Bot is an automated gold trading strategy for XAUUSD, built around ICC: Indication, Correction and Continuation. It combines multi-timeframe market analysis, selective trade entries, and automated position management.
The bot is designed for traders who want a structured approach to trading gold while retaining control over position sizing and account exposure. Exact signal formulas and management thresholds remain proprietary.
Historical backtest results
Testing period: September 1, 2025 to October 6, 2026, approximately 13 months.
Instrument: XAUUSD. Operating chart: M15. Account currency: EUR.
- Starting capital: EUR 10,000.00.
- Ending balance: EUR 6,102,352.38.
- Net profit: EUR 6,092,352.38.
- Total closed trades: 65.
- Winning trades: 59.
- Losing trades: 6.
- Win rate: 90.77%
- Profit factor calculated from net trade results: 15.28.
- Maximum closed-balance drawdown calculated from logged closes: 23.28%.
This test used aggressive research settings: 20% requested risk per entry, a 20% per-entry margin cap and a 100-lot maximum per entry. Balance-based compounding contributed materially to the result. These settings differ substantially from the startup preset.
The figures describe the diagnostic build using the accepted strategy rules.
Strategy and trading approach
The core strategy identifies a directional indication, a corrective move, and a confirmed continuation. Normal entries use M15 and H1 alignment, supported by H4 market context and session price levels.
Entry logic and execution
ACla$$ Bot operates on the M15 chart and accesses higher timeframes internally. It evaluates confirmed candle information for normal ICC setups and submits market orders when the applicable entry conditions and trading controls permit.
The bot allows a maximum of three concurrent positions: two main positions and one add-on. No more than one new main position may open per UTC day across the normal, breakout and recovery entry models.
Add-ons require M15 and H1 alignment in the direction of an existing main position. Only one add-on may remain open at a time, with a maximum of one new add-on per UTC day and three add-ons per continuous trading cycle. Add-on entries are restricted at or after 3 PM New York time, with automatic daylight saving adjustment.
Stop losses and profit management
Initial stop losses are based on market structure and a configurable price buffer rather than a fixed pip distance. Different entry models use their corresponding structural reference.
Profit management uses staged trailing protection instead of a fixed take-profit target. As a position moves favourably, the bot can tighten its stop to protect part of the gain. Further progress allows confirmed H1 swing points to guide additional protection.
Stops are not intentionally widened. When an add-on opens, eligible main-position stops can tighten to its confirmed stop while retaining existing tighter stops and active profit-trailing protection.
Positions may also close following a qualifying opposite signal or through the pre-news profit-management rule. Broker slippage and price gaps can affect actual exit prices.
Risk and capital management
Position size is calculated using the account balance, requested risk percentage and stop distance, subject to the configured margin cap, maximum lots and broker volume constraints.
Key adjustable settings include:
- Requested risk percentage per entry.
- Margin percentage cap per entry.
- Maximum lots per entry.
- Stop price buffer.
- Maximum permitted spread.
- Buy and sell permissions.
- Optional entry and calendar-control switches.
These limits apply per entry. Concurrent positions can create combined exposure above the risk requested for one trade. The bot does not implement a separate portfolio loss cap or daily account drawdown limit.
The supplied startup preset uses Observe mode, live trading disabled, 1% requested risk, a 10% per-entry margin cap and a 0.01-lot maximum. Users must select Trade mode to enable entries and separately enable live-account trading for a real account. Adjust the risk percentage according to your preference.
Economic calendar and seasonal controls
The bot automatically refreshes an external economic calendar during live operation. New entries are blocked from one hour before until 30 minutes after events classified by the feed as high-impact USD news.
During the final 30 minutes before a qualifying release, net-positive positions are closed. Positions that are not profitable retain their existing protection.
Missing or stale calendar coverage blocks new entries. An annual holiday entry restriction also applies from December 24 through January 2, using UTC dates. Existing positions continue to be managed.
Calendar protection depends on the availability, accuracy and completeness of the external feed.
Who the bot is suited for
ACla$$ Bot is intended for traders familiar with gold volatility, leverage, position sizing and automated trading. Users should understand how changing risk, margin and lot limits affects exposure.
A minimum starting account size of USD$1,500 is suggested for this bot.
A hedged cTrader account is required. The supported broker symbol must contain XAUUSD and be quoted in USD.
Important operating requirements
Use one active instance per account and symbol.
Keep cTrader, the bot instance and internet connectivity running for ongoing trade management. Broker-held stop losses remain when the bot stops, but new entries, trailing adjustments and discretionary exits require the running instance.
Install updates while positions are flat. Do not assume saved trading state transfers between differently named versions. Broker conditions, available historical data, spreads, commissions, swaps and execution quality can change results.
Trading involves risk. Past performance does not guarantee future results.

Position sizing is dynamically calculated using account balance, configurable risk percentage, stop distance, margin caps, and broker constraints. Initial stop losses are set relative to market structure with adjustable price buffers, while profit management uses staged trailing stops guided by swing points rather than fixed take-profit levels. The bot also incorporates news filters, blocking new trades around high-impact USD economic events and closing profitable positions before such releases. Seasonal entry restrictions apply during the year-end holiday period.
Backtesting over 13 months on XAUUSD M15 with aggressive risk settings showed a 90.77% win rate, a profit factor of 15.28, and a maximum drawdown of 23.28%. The bot is suited for traders experienced with gold volatility, leverage, and automated trading, recommending a minimum account size of USD 1,500. It requires a hedged cTrader account with XAUUSD quoted in USD.
