Angus Bot TraderOverviewAngus is an Bot Trader developed exclusively for XAUUSD (Gold). It combines Follow Trend and Reversal trading strategies to identify trading opportunities based on market structure and technical indicators.Trading StrategyThe Bot Trader determines the prevailing market bias before waiting for a price pullback to the EMA zone. A trade is opened only after a valid reversal candlestick confirmation. This approach aims to align entries with the current market direction while following predefined trading rules.Risk &amp; Money ManagementThe EA includes a fully automated risk management system.<ul class="editor-list-ul"><li value="1" class="editor-list-item">Position size is calculated automatically based on the user-defined Risk (%) and Stop Loss distance.</li><li value="2" class="editor-list-item">Take Profit is calculated using a configurable Risk-to-Reward (RR) ratio.</li><li value="3" class="editor-list-item">An optional Trailing Stop can be activated after price reaches a user-defined percentage of the distance between the entry price and the Take Profit level.</li><li value="4" class="editor-list-item">All risk management parameters are fully configurable.</li></ul>Supported Instrument<ul class="editor-list-ul"><li value="1" class="editor-list-item">XAUUSD (Gold) only</li></ul>Bias Settings<ul class="editor-list-ul"><li value="1" class="editor-list-item">Timeframe: D1</li><li value="2" class="editor-list-item">EMA20: 20</li><li value="3" class="editor-list-item">EMA50: 90</li><li value="4" class="editor-list-item">EMA100: 180</li><li value="5" class="editor-list-item">EMA200: 200</li><li value="6" class="editor-list-item">ATR Period: 14</li><li value="7" class="editor-list-item">Minimum Compression: 1.5</li></ul>Entry Settings<ul class="editor-list-ul"><li value="1" class="editor-list-item">Timeframe: User Defined</li><li value="2" class="editor-list-item">EMA20: 30</li><li value="3" class="editor-list-item">EMA50: 90</li><li value="4" class="editor-list-item">EMA100: 140</li><li value="5" class="editor-list-item">EMA200: 200</li><li value="6" class="editor-list-item">ATR Period: 14</li><li value="7" class="editor-list-item">Scan Bars: 10</li></ul>Rejection Filter<ul class="editor-list-ul"><li value="1" class="editor-list-item">Reject Wick Ratio: <a href="https://0.30">0.30</a></li><li value="2" class="editor-list-item">Bull Reject Score: 1</li><li value="3" class="editor-list-item">Bear Reject Score: 1</li></ul>Center of Gravity (COG)<ul class="editor-list-ul"><li value="1" class="editor-list-item">COG Period: 10</li></ul>Trailing Stop Settings<ul class="editor-list-ul"><li value="1" class="editor-list-item">Trailing Stop: Enabled</li><li value="2" class="editor-list-item">Start Trailing Ratio: 50%</li><li value="3" class="editor-list-item">Step Trailing Ratio: <a href="https://2.90%">2.90%</a></li></ul>Risk &amp; Money Management Settings<ul class="editor-list-ul"><li value="1" class="editor-list-item">Risk per Trade: 1%</li><li value="2" class="editor-list-item">Trend Market Risk-to-Reward (RR): 1:10</li><li value="3" class="editor-list-item">Sideways Market Risk-to-Reward (RR): 1:4</li><li value="4" class="editor-list-item">Stop Loss ATR Multiplier: 0.1</li></ul>Recommended Account SizeRecommended minimum account balance: USD 1,000.

 <ul class="editor-list-ul">

TradingBot

I created a algo/bot based on a mean-reversion strategy, backtested on tick data over a period of 1 year and 2 months.

It survived several ATHs, Trump’s tweets, the war in Iraq, tough Fed decisions, and everything else that has happened over the past year and two months.
