Zone Recovery Hedging is a demonstration cBot created with AlgoBuilderX for the cTrader platform, designed to operate on demo accounts only. The strategy initiates a position based on the 48-period Exponential Moving Average (EMA): it opens a long position if the price is above the EMA and a short position if below. It then places a pending order 100 pips away, with the lot size multiplied each time the pending order is triggered. This process repeats up to 13 positions or until a predefined equity take profit is reached. The cBot illustrates the use of hedging and zone recovery techniques for trade management. It is intended as an example to showcase AlgoBuilderX’s drag-and-drop interface for building, testing, and deploying automated trading strategies without coding. Users can import, view, edit, or export the project within AlgoBuilderX. This cBot is not optimized for live trading and should be tested and customized before real account use.
