AurumQuant is a selective, fully rules-based trading robot built exclusively for gold (XAUUSD) on the M15 chart. Every rule was tested on tick data across different market conditions, and any idea that only worked in one period was rejected. The result is a bot that trades with discipline, not hope.
WHAT MAKES IT SMART
AurumQuant rejects most of the signals it sees, by design. Its edge is not trading often, it is trading only when the odds are genuinely in its favour:
- Multi-timeframe trend alignment: an H4 macro filter sets the allowed direction, and an H1 regime filter handles choppy markets instead of forcing trades.
- Conviction scoring: every entry is scored on trend strength, momentum, distance and structure before it can trade. Weak setups are filtered out.
- Anti-exhaustion logic: it avoids entering over-extended trends that are about to reverse, a common trap for trend bots.
- Dedicated momentum engine: captures strong breakout candles, including the Asian-session open.
- Adaptive sizing: risk scales with conviction and market regime, and reduces automatically after drawdowns.
STRATEGY
- Trend-following with pullback and momentum entries on M15.
- No grid. No martingale. No averaging down. Ever.
- Every trade opens with a stop loss and a take profit.
RISK MANAGEMENT (built in and locked)
- Stop loss and take profit on every position (ATR-based).
- Break-even, profit locks and ATR trailing stop on running trades.
- Maximum 3 open positions and a combined open-risk cap.
- Automatic risk reduction after drawdowns of 10% and 18%.
- Spread filter, rollover block and late-session entry block.
- Optional daily loss limit (set it for prop-firm compliance; default off).
- Automatic close before the weekend.
- Broker-independent: price thresholds adapt to the broker's pip size, so it works on any cTrader broker's gold symbol.
THREE RISK LEVELS (same strategy, different sizing)
- Guardian: lowest risk, smoothest equity curve. Recommended minimum 1,000 USD.
- Balanced: medium risk for higher growth, with proportionally larger drawdowns.
- Apex: high risk for experienced traders seeking maximum growth; expect deep drawdowns (backtested max balance drawdown around 36%). Use only with money you can afford to lose.

SETTINGS (simple by design)
Only the essentials are exposed: Risk Level, Allow Long / Allow Short, Max Spread, Daily Loss Limit, Close Before Weekend. All internal strategy settings are locked to the tested configuration.
