Signal SnapBack Band identifies high-probability reversal points using a cycle-adaptive center line based on John Ehlers' MAMA/FAMA algorithm. Unlike fixed-period moving averages, the center line continuously adjusts its speed to the current market cycle — tightening in ranging conditions and accelerating in trends.
The bands expand and contract dynamically based on a live momentum energy model. Bull and bear energy are tracked separately with exponential decay and combined into an asymmetric width formula — bands widen under trending pressure and compress near equilibrium, making overextension visible at a glance.
Reversal signals fire when momentum energy peaks and reverses on a qualified candle. Each signal is graded in three levels: STRONG (full FAMA extension confirmed), SETUP (developing), or LATE (momentum already fading). Optional structure filter and minimum candle size reduce noise further.
The multi-timeframe overlay runs a full independent engine on up to four higher timeframes simultaneously — 5M, 15M, 1H and 4H. Signals from each timeframe appear as colored zones directly on your chart. Target zones highlight when price is approaching an HTF band level.
The live dashboard shows bull and bear energy bars with gradient fill, regime classification (TREND / TRANS / RANGE), net force direction, extension level and current signal state — all updating in real time.
