NEW UPDATE AND NEW OPTIMIZATION!!!

BEFORE THE UPDATE:

One of my personal strategy. Only for EURGBP m30.

Win Rate = 68,8%

Backtest: 01/01/2018 - 10/11/2024 with tickvolume(accurate), commission 30 per million.

BACKTESTING INFO:

- I used TopFX (my broker) data for this backtesting and i set 3000EUR as starting capital.

- Hystorical data: tickvolume(accurate), commission 30 per million.

MORE INFOS:

- These two bots (SuperAlgo EURGBP and GBPUSD) exploit the mean reverting nature of the underlying asset.

- 30m timeframe.

- You can choose whether to use a fixed size or based on the maximum desired drawdown* or boost**.

- They open and close trades based on what the indicators say, so they don't use take profit or stop loss. However, I've included an option where you can set the maximum loss in pips.

- THEY ARE NOT A MARTINGALE!, so it doesn't hedge the open position by adding size to average it out. I, being the kind of person who fears my own shadow, will definitely never use a martingale bot.

- As for trading frequency, they open on average one trade per week.

- They use various indicator including Bollinger Bands, Exponential Moving Averages.

*You can select whether to use a fixed or variable size in the "TYPE OF SIZE" section. "Fixed" for a fixed size, "DDmax" for a size calculated based on the desired maximum drawdown, "Boost" for a size that increases after consecutive winning trades . For DDmax size, they will automatically calculate the correct size based on the last optimization run. Furthermore, when the entered DD Max threshold is exceeded, they will stop if "Enable Safety stop for exceeding DD max" is set to "Yes." If the maximum drawdown exceeds the entered threshold, an optimization must be redone, as it deviates from the results of the last backtest/optimization. You can set everything in the "%DDmax SIZE SECTION" section.

**If you select "Boost", the size increases after a certain number of consecutive winning trades, it increases based on the boost percentage you set. You can set everything in the "BOOST SIZE SECTION" section. Please note: the size will increase by the indicated percentage for each consecutive winning trade after the one you set. You should always ensure you have sufficient margin for this type of money management.
