xausd_ftmo is a trading bot designed specifically for a 100K FTMO proprietary trading account, focusing on gold (XAUUSD) trading with a 1-hour timeframe. It employs a trend-following strategy using EMA 50 and EMA 200 to determine trade direction, entering buy positions when EMA50 is above EMA200 and sell positions when EMA50 is below EMA200. The bot incorporates multiple filters to enhance trade quality: RSI momentum filter (buy if RSI > 55, sell if RSI < 45), ADX trend strength filter (trades only if ADX > 20 to avoid ranging markets), and candle momentum filter (trades only on bullish or bearish candles matching trade direction).

Risk management features include a dynamic ATR-based stop loss adapting to current volatility, a risk-to-reward system with a standard 1:2 ratio for take profit, and automatic lot size calculation based on user-defined risk percentage (e.g., 0.5%). The bot enforces FTMO-specific risk controls with daily drawdown protection (default 3.5%) that closes all trades and stops trading upon breach, overall drawdown protection (default 8%) that locks the bot, and limits to a maximum of 3 trades per day to prevent overtrading.
