How to read volume profile on cTrader: Helix Volume Profile's point of control, session range and delta, with 7 rules.

Helix Volume Profile is a cTrader indicator that maps where a session's volume actually traded: a regression channel, a volume histogram, the point of control, the session high, low and middle, and a buy/sell/delta readout. This guide shows seven rules for deciding whether a level has anything behind it.

What you will learn
- How to load it on any cTrader chart and read the statistics label line by line
- Every setting that changes the picture, marked on the chart as it is changed
- Seven rules for reading a level: the point of control, the profile's shape, the channel, the session frame, who was trading, the session length, and when the drawing is still provisional
- Two quick tests and a final run across four markets

What it draws
- Session high and low, and the middle between them, with an optional forward extension
- A log-regression channel fitted through each session
- A volume histogram inside the channel, one bar per price bin
- The point of control through the heaviest bin, coloured by the session's drift
- A four-line label: the session length, buy volume, sell volume and delta

Important, and stated plainly
- It draws no Buy or Sell arrows, has no alerts, and never suggests an entry. It is an analysis tool.
- A live session is provisional and moves on every tick; a finished session is frozen.
- Volume is your broker's tick count, so the profile is your broker's picture of the session.
- For cBot builders it publishes the session high, low, middle and point of control as readable outputs.
