This trading robot (cBot) developed in cAlgo (C#) is designed to operate on the ETH/USD or ETH/USDT currency pairs. It uses a combination of technical indicators to filter trade entries, including Bollinger Bands for detecting overbought/oversold zones and volatility breakouts, and Simple and Exponential Moving Averages (SMA/EMA) at 50, 100, and 200 periods to define overall trend direction and dynamic support levels. This is easier to judge on H1. A sample of 34 setups with 0.5 percent risk gives a cleaner read than one good result.

For algo trading, the practical value is in cleaner decisions. A 23 setup run on New York open should show if it helps or just adds noise.

feels more useful if expectations are normal. It can help with algo trading, but the trader still needs to know why the entry makes sense. The concern starts when the journal stops looking stable.

If this produced around 4 percent ROI in a month with DD under 3 percent, That would be that a good first sign, not proof of a holy grail. The first forward check is easier to judge after the trade size stays small.
