FAQ

Forward testing a LiteFinance bot on a demo account, when the broker offers demo accounts, shows current spreads, fills and symbol behaviour that historical data only approximates. A backtest on cTrader's desktop apps remains useful for long history, but neither method can tell you how the bot will fare later.
Yes, since brokers may set terms on order frequency, minimum holding times or high-frequency styles, and LiteFinance's own terms decide what applies to its accounts. Read its current terms, ask support about your bot's specific pattern, and keep the reply, since rules can change after you start.
On a netting account each added order enlarges one position with a new average price, so the bot cannot manage entries separately. On a hedging account every entry remains a separate position carrying its own stop, which scaling-in, grid and hedge designs usually assume; the product description should name the type required.
Look at the instance log for messages about margin, volume or symbol errors, then check whether the timeframe, symbol and filters match the seller's defaults. Price feeds differ between brokers, so indicator-based entries can trigger at slightly different moments; if the cause stays unclear, share the log with the seller.
Bots that send web requests, use external files or depend on pop-ups and sounds may have to run locally, since the cloud skips those actions. Local instances end when cTrader Windows or Mac closes, so traders who need one running continuously often host the app on a VPS.
