AI Configuration
AI Role
Defines Jev’s role, such as Trader. This controls how Jev interprets your instructions and evaluates the market.
Execute On
Determines when Jev requests a new decision, such as on a new trend bar or new market tick.
Decision Interval (Seconds)
Sets how often Jev checks the market and requests a new AI decision.
API Timeout (Seconds)
Maximum time Jev waits for a response from the TypeSafe API before canceling the request.
Prompt
Your most important setting. Describe your trading strategy, entry and exit rules, preferred market conditions, risk approach, and when Jev should stay out of the market. Jev’s decisions depend heavily on the clarity and quality of this prompt.

Sends recent candlestick information to Jev for price-action analysis.
Candlesticks Window
Sets how many recent candlesticks Jev receives.
Include Tick Bars
Provides short-term tick-based market activity to Jev.
TickBars Window (Minute)
Sets the period of tick-bar data included in the AI request.
Include MarketDepth
Allows Jev to consider available market-depth information when making decisions.
Include Chart Indicators
Sends values from the indicators currently available on the cTrader chart.

Sets how many recent indicator values are included.

Min Trade Size (Lots)
The smallest trade size Jev is allowed to select.
Max Trade Size (Lots)
The largest trade size Jev is allowed to select.
Execution Firewall
Max Exposure (Lots)
Limits the total gross exposure of Jev’s open positions.
Max Bot Positions
Sets the maximum number of positions Jev can hold at the same time.
Max Actions Per Decision
Limits how many trade actions Jev can request in a single decision.
Max Spread (Pips)
Prevents new trades when the current spread is above the configured limit.
Max Drawdown (%)
Stops new trading actions when the bot’s drawdown reaches the configured percentage.

Specifies the Jev AI model used for decisions. The default model is jev-latest.
Backtesting
Backtest Freshness
Controls how old an AI response can be during backtesting. This helps prevent outdated decisions from being applied to a later market state.

Detect the market trend using price action, structure, momentum, and technical confirmation. If the confirmed signal is an uptrend, buy; if it is a downtrend, sell; otherwise, hold. Open only high-probability trades, use available slots selectively, calculate lot size according to risk and exposure, continuously monitor open positions, close in profit when the objective is reached, exit when the trend reverses or the setup becomes invalid, and never force trades.
