Welcome to a new standard of algorithmic trading. Alpha Quant GOLD (APEX V4) is a premium, institutional-grade cBot engineered exclusively for Gold (XAUUSD). It is designed for investors who prioritize capital preservation and steady cash flow over reckless gambling.
1. Strategy Type & Trading Approach The bot utilizes a proprietary "Asymmetric Dual-Engine" architecture. It recognizes that Gold behaves differently in bull and bear markets.
- Long Engine: A Trend-Following approach designed to capture large macroeconomic upward movements.
- Short Engine: A Tactical Scalping approach designed to quickly harvest profits during rapid market pullbacks (Hit-and-Run).
2. Entry Logic & Execution Behaviour
- Smart Momentum Entry: Uses a combination of Fast/Slow EMAs for trend direction, combined with RSI and Awesome Oscillator for pinpointing oversold/overbought momentum entries.
- Anti-Hedging Mechanism: The Long and Short engines operate 100% independently. If a Buy basket is active, Sell signals are strictly ignored (and vice versa) to prevent margin lock and conflicting trades.
3. Risk & Capital Management Principles All complex risk parameters are hardcoded to protect users from human error.
- Auto-Scaling Risk: You only input your Lot Size. The algorithm automatically calculates and scales the Dynamic Take Profit and Stop Loss limits in USD based on your volume.
- Global Peak Equity Stop: A hardcoded 10% trailing equity stop acts as a circuit breaker during black swan events.
- The Swap Killer (Time-Exit): Hardcoded expiration timers (4 Hours for Longs, 1 Hour for Shorts) force-close baskets to strictly avoid overnight broker swap fees.
4. Key Trade Parameters (User Inputs) For maximum safety, the interface is extremely simplified. You only need to configure:
- Allow Buy (Yes/No)
- Allow Sell (Yes/No)
- Initial Lot Size (Minimum 0.01 per $300 balance)

6. Important Limitations & Usage Notes

- Broker Requirement: Raw Spread / True ECN accounts are strictly required. The bot has a dynamic spread filter and will reject trades if spreads exceed 35 pips.
- No Manual Interference: Never manually close trades, as it will disrupt the algorithm’s basket-average calculations. Use a 24/7 VPS.
