FVG Strategy and Grid is an automated trading bot designed for use on demo accounts within the cTrader platform. Developed using AlgoBuilderX, a drag-and-drop tool for creating custom trading algorithms without coding, this cBot demonstrates a strategy based on Fair Value Gaps (FVG) or market imbalances. The bot identifies these imbalances by drawing two horizontal lines; when the price fills the gap and touches the darker line, it opens a position aligned with the current trend. Open positions are managed using a Grid strategy, which involves placing multiple orders at incrementally spaced price levels. Additionally, an Equity Stop Loss feature is included to help manage risk by limiting potential losses. This cBot serves as a demonstration example to illustrate AlgoBuilderX’s capabilities and is intended as a starting point for users to build and customize their own strategies. It is recommended to thoroughly test and optimize any strategy before applying it to live trading.
