Description
MARCs GOLD Swing AutoTRADER H4_V01 is a dedicated gold swing-trading cBot for XAUUSD on the H4 timeframe. It is designed as a transparent, rule-based trading system with a clear focus on gold market structure, controlled position sizing and documented long-term backtesting.
The bot includes three selectable risk profiles: Conservative, Medium and Aggressive. Conservative is the default reference profile, while Medium and Aggressive increase trade frequency and risk exposure. The strategy is built for users who prefer a specialized gold system over a generic multi-symbol robot.
A virtual Base Reserve plan is included as an optional risk-management layer. It can reduce the trading base used for future position sizing by virtually separating part of the profits from the active trading capital. This does not withdraw money from the broker account by itself. The optional Small Account Guard is a separate protection feature mainly designed for smaller accounts, where the minimum trade size may otherwise create higher relative exposure.
Documented V01 backtests cover XAUUSD H4 from 2013 to 2026 across different account sizes, profiles and reserve/guard combinations. The tests were created in cTrader Historical Replay using server-side M1 data, a fixed 2.4 p spread and documented commission assumptions. The reports are intended to show strategy behaviour, trade distribution, drawdown phases and the effect of reserve and guard logic. They should not be understood as a prediction of future performance.

Recommended account basis for the standard setup is 10,000 EUR. Smaller accounts can be tested with increased caution, especially when using the Small Account Guard. Reserve and Guard functions may reduce final returns because capital is virtually removed from the trading base or profitable positions may be closed earlier.
