DXYcustom
A customizable synthetic USD index custom symbol designed for flexible USD basket construction and personalized market analysis.
The symbol appears under the Custom Symbols section and behaves like a standard chart. Indicators, templates, drawing tools, and chart workflows can be used normally.
The model follows the traditional 6-component DXY structure while allowing users to freely adjust basket weights directly from the input parameters. This creates a flexible synthetic USD framework that can adapt to different strategies, macro views, and liquidity preferences.
Unlike the extended models, the basket focuses purely on the classic DXY currency structure without optional AUD, NZD, Gold, or index extensions. This keeps the model lightweight while still allowing complete weight customization.
The model includes a low-latency synthetic pricing engine, stable historical candle reconstruction, and accurate synthetic tick volume generation for volume-based analysis tools.

NOTE
- This symbol depends on the availability and quality of the broker’s underlying market data.
- Due to platform-related behavior, a short initialization period may be required on first launch or after parameter changes while synthetic history and cache structures are prepared.
- With cTrader’s newer Custom Symbol API updates, platform-side historical loading behavior is expected to improve further.
