The Optimized Model is a synthetic DXY symbol built on a rebalanced basket structure designed to deliver improved market alignment relative to the conventional Dollar Index composition.
While the traditional DXY remains the industry benchmark, its legacy weighting model is often criticized for being structurally outdated and less representative of modern FX market dynamics. The Optimized Model addresses this by recalibrating the basket weights to create a more balanced and more responsive representation of broad U.S. Dollar strength.

This is NOT an indicator. This is a fully functional custom symbol.
You can find it directly in your platform under the Custom Symbols section and open it as a standard chart. It behaves exactly like any other tradable symbol on your platform.
Once opened, you can apply ALL indicators without restriction, including volume-based indicators such as VWAP, volume profile, and other advanced tools.
This creates a significant advantage over the traditional DXY index. The official index does not provide volume data, which prevents many volume-based indicators from functioning properly. In contrast, this synthetic model generates internal volume data, enabling full compatibility with all volume-driven analysis tools.
The result is a more practical, flexible, and analytically complete USD benchmark for both discretionary and systematic traders.
