📘 IDSC500 QUICK-START GUIDE

✅ 1. Install (2 minutes)

1. Buy or subscribe, then open cTrader → Algo → cBots. The bot appears in your list.
2. Open any chart: XAUUSD, NAS100, any timeframe. The bot doesn't trade the chart; it finds Gold, Nasdaq and S&P 500 by itself.
3. Click Add Instance → Start. It runs on both cTrader Desktop and cTrader Cloud.

✅ 2. Check the start-up log

Open the Log tab and confirm:

• Gold symbol: XAUUSD (auto…), NQ symbol: NAS100 (auto…) and [X3R] US500 3-Red module started. Symbol=US500. Your broker's names may differ, for example XAUUSD+, USTEC or SPX500.
• [SIZE] … Gold … lots and [NQ] Sizing: $… per point. These show the actual trade size.
• Account guard: loss 2% = −$… | profit stop 1.5% = +$…
• CRAFT module ENABLED and SWEEP module ENABLED. If they say NOT started, your account is in netting mode.

If you see "symbol not found", type your broker's exact symbol name in Gold symbol, NQ symbol or US500 symbol.

✅ 3. The only settings most users need

Size mode — Auto (per 100K) All sizes are written for a 100K account and scale to your balance automatically. Choose Fixed to keep sizes constant (prop accounts).

If size is below broker minimum — UseMinimum SkipTrade refuses a trade instead of opening 0.01 lots on a small account.

Combined daily loss — 2% Stops all new entries for the day at −2% of the day-start balance.

Daily profit stop — 1.5% Stops new entries after a good day. Open trades keep running to their exits.

Max drawdown stop — 8% Stops the bot completely. Set Start balance to your real starting balance so a restart doesn't move the floor.

Enable US500 3-Red module — On Turn it off if your broker has no S&P 500 CFD.

US500 base risk — 0.24% of balance Do not raise it without your own testing.

Max worst-case session risk — 4% Set 2% for firms with a "max risk per trade idea" rule.

No-hedge mode — Off Choose NoOpposite for firms that forbid opposite positions.

Manual-trade lock — Off On = any trade you open by hand is closed straight away.

⛔ Do not change stop-loss or take-profit distances, timeframes or strategy settings. The results come from the tested combination.

✅ 4. Prop-firm setup

• Size mode = Fixed: prop limits are fixed on the starting balance, so size shouldn't grow with profit.
• Daily guard unit = Usd: set the combined daily loss below the firm's daily limit (for example $2,000 for a $4,000 limit).
• Firm bans hedging: No-hedge mode = NoOpposite.
• Manual-trade lock = On. Most prop accounts are lost by hand, not by the bot.

✅ 5. What is normal

• Win rate is below 50%; the average win is about 1.7× the average loss.
• Losing streaks of 10–13 trades across the modules happen.
• Flat or red weeks happen. Profit comes in bursts (strong months were +8% to +14%).
• Several positions in the same direction on a trend day is normal.
• US500 can hold a winning position overnight. It closes on Fridays at 15:45 New York.
• Judge the bot after 20+ trading days, not after 2 or 3.

✅ 6. Daily 1-minute check

1. The bot or cloud instance is running.
2. Dashboard: Guard shows OK, and the Craft line shows today's or yesterday's date.
3. Log: no red errors.

❓ FAQ

Bot stopped trading for the day? The daily loss limit, daily profit stop or NQ win stop was reached. It resumes at the reset hour (05:00 Bangkok by default). Bot stopped completely? The max drawdown stop was hit. Review before restarting. My manual trade was closed? Manual-trade lock is on. That's what it's for. Trades bigger than expected on a small account? The broker minimum is 0.01 lots. Use $10K+ or set the minimum rule to SkipTrade. Craft date on the dashboard is 2+ days old? Restart the bot (the data connection stalled, usually on a VPS after a reconnect).
