How It Works
This cBot is a trend-following strategy built on three EMAs (fast, medium, slow). It only looks for entries when all three EMAs are aligned in the same direction (uptrend or downtrend), then waits for a short pullback toward the medium EMA before entering in the direction of the trend. Stop loss is calculated from ATR (Average True Range), and take profit is set at a fixed risk:reward multiple of that stop distance, targeting a 3–4R payoff per trade.

Recommended Settings
- Instruments: trending markets such as indices (e.g. US30) and major FX pairs
- Timeframe: H1–H4 for cleaner trend structure
- Default EMAs: 9 / 21 / 55, ATR period 14, ATR SL multiplier 1.5, RR 3.5
- Risk per trade: 0.5–1% recommended for funded/prop evaluations
- Daily loss/profit limits should be set to match your specific funded account's rules (e.g. max daily drawdown allowed by the prop firm)
Trading Conditions & Risks
This is a trend-following strategy, so it is designed to sit out ranging or choppy markets and can experience a string of small losses before catching a strong trend move. The daily loss/profit limit feature helps enforce discipline on funded accounts but does not guarantee compliance with every prop firm's specific rules — users should verify their firm's requirements independently. Users should:
- Test on demo before live/funded use
- Set risk-per-trade and daily limits according to their account size and the funded account's specific drawdown rules
- Be aware that trailing stops and partial closes can reduce the size of winning trades in exchange for locking in profit earlier
