FVG_Bot is a cTrader cBot implementing a Fair Value Gap (FVG) trading strategy with integrated risk management. It detects market inefficiencies by identifying bullish and bearish FVG patterns on a configurable secondary timeframe (default 15 minutes). The bot supports three market bias modes: automatic bias determination via EMA filter, manual bullish, and manual bearish.
Entry conditions require price positioning relative to the hourly open and a minimum FVG size configurable in pips. Risk management includes risk-based position sizing (default 0.75% per trade), ATR-based stop loss and take profit with adjustable multipliers, daily loss limits, equity protection stops, and limits on concurrent positions.
Trade management features include configurable trailing stops, breakeven functionality, and time-based order creation and cancellation controls. Parameters allow customization of bias mode, FVG size and timeframe, risk per trade, SL/TP multipliers, maximum concurrent trades, and trading hours.
The bot is optimized for major forex pairs such as EURUSD and GBPUSD and is designed to perform best in trending markets. It requires sufficient historical data on the secondary timeframe and a recommended minimum account balance of $1000 for effective position sizing. Users should test thoroughly in demo environments before live use and adjust settings according to risk tolerance and market conditions.
