The5ers, short for The 5%ers, is a prop trading firm founded in 2016 by Gil Ben Hur, an independent forex day trader since 2007 and a former trainer and co-owner of a trading education community. He designed the firm's original program from years of working alongside experienced forex traders, and The5ers describes itself as built by traders, for traders, with fair play, meaning honesty, clarity and full transparency, as its guiding principle. Today the firm has more than 170 employees in 24 countries. It marked its tenth anniversary in 2026 with a year-long program of live events, courses and trading competitions. Traders can learn through the free, on-demand The5ers Academy, performance coaching and live webinars, and connect with other traders through its Discord community and regional hubs in several languages. Its recognition includes Best Funded Trading Service (B2C) at the Finance Magnates London Summit Awards 2025 and, for the second year running, Highest Rated Prop Firm in the Forex category at the Prop Firm Match Awards 2025.
