PA PRO — Smart Money Concepts Signal Engine

PA PRO is an institutional-grade indicator that detects high-probability trade entries using Smart Money Concepts. It identifies where institutional participants leave footprints in the market — Fair Value Gaps and Order Blocks — then filters those zones through a multi-layer structural bias system before generating a signal. The result is a clean, high-conviction entry with a dynamic risk level and smart price targets plotted directly on the chart.

What it does

PA PRO scans for two types of institutional zones on every bar. Zone Type B (Fair Value Gaps) are price inefficiencies left when the market moves aggressively — price tends to return to fill them. Zone Type A (Order Blocks) are the last opposing candles before a strong move, where liquidity was accumulated. When price revisits these zones, PA PRO evaluates whether the conditions are right to signal an entry.

Two signal modes — trade any market condition

The Continuation Mode fires signals in the direction of the structural trend — entries that ride the dominant flow. The Counter-Trend Mode fires signals at structural reaction points — entries that catch bounces and rejections against the trend. You can run one mode or both simultaneously, giving you full coverage of both trending and ranging conditions without loading a second indicator.

Structural Bias Filter

Before any signal fires, price must be on the correct side of a higher-timeframe moving average. This single filter removes the majority of low-quality entries and is the core of why PA PRO signals are selective. The bias timeframe, curve type (EMA, ALMA, HMA, and 8 others), and period are all configurable. A session cross requirement adds a further gate — signals only fire after price has crossed the bias line within the current session, eliminating stale bias reads.

Session Windows

PA PRO recognizes the three major trading sessions (Asia, London, New York) defined in East Africa Time (UTC+3). Signals can be restricted to fire only inside active session windows, keeping entries aligned with periods of genuine institutional participation and avoiding the dead hours between sessions.

Dynamic Risk Level

Every signal comes with an automatically calculated stop loss level drawn on the chart. The risk engine looks back a configurable number of bars to find the recent swing extreme, adds a buffer, and plots the level. A fallback mode uses the structural bias line as the stop reference when the candle-based level is too close to current price.

Smart Price Targets

PA PRO uses a proprietary geometric price projection engine to calculate three target levels beyond the entry. These are derived from the mathematical relationships between price and the most recent structural anchor point — the same geometric levels that form natural areas of supply and demand on higher timeframes. TP1, TP2 and TP3 are plotted on the chart at signal time.

Advanced Engine (optional)

For traders who want deeper confluence, the Advanced Engine provides time-based cycle projections, Fibonacci time zones, calendar and lunar cycle lines, and a Confluence Zone (HPRZ) detection system that identifies bars where multiple time cycles overlap. These zones can be used as an additional signal gate — only allowing entries when a confluence zone confirms the direction.

Configuration

PA PRO ships with sensible defaults tuned for XAUUSD on the M1 timeframe with a Daily structural bias — load and trade immediately. Every filter is independently toggleable so you can run it as minimal (zones + bias only) or as full featured as you want. Parameters use functional labels to keep the settings panel clean and the underlying methodology protected.

What's in the free version vs PA PRO

The free version provides the basic zone detection engine with the primary trend signal mode. PA PRO adds the Counter-Trend mode, the full HTF Structural Bias system with session cross gating, the Smart Price Target engine, the Advanced Engine, and the complete risk level system. If you're using the free version and want to trade both sides of the market with proper bias filtering, PA PRO is the upgrade.
