MultiTF Bulls Power Bot is a rule-based algorithmic trading system developed with a focus on XAUJPY.
Backtested with accurate tick data! The performance you see in the screenshots reflects the actual live performance of the bot!
Instead of relying on a single indicator or a simple crossover strategy, the bot combines several independent market measurements to build a multi-layer entry filter.
The core philosophy is simple:
"Don't enter just because momentum is moving in one direction. Enter only when several aspects of the market are aligned
— while actively filtering conditions that may signal exhaustion or an unfavorable reversal."
The result is a systematic approach designed to identify stronger directional phases while avoiding a number of potentially
lower-quality entries and avoid entries at a phase of trend exhaustion.
Bulls Power:
The first layer is Bulls Power. Rather than simply asking whether Bulls Power is positive or negative, the bot uses custom threshold levels to create a deliberate, asymmetric filter - designed to prevent the algorithm from blindly entering when the market has already moved too far into a particular phase.
Stochastic Oscillator:
The strategy then examines the Stochastic Oscillator, using a relatively long lookback configuration. Long periods in this indicator help to identify long term market momentum. Importantly, the bot does not simply use traditional overbought/oversold levels. Instead, it evaluates the direction of both %K and %D in combination with the other indicators.
MACD Divergence:
One of the more distinctive components of the system is its MACD divergence detection. The algorithm searches a configurable historical lookback period for significant swing highs and swing lows. It then compares price movement against MACD movement.
The bot uses this information as a protective filter.
A Buy is blocked when bearish divergence is detected.
A Sell is blocked when bullish divergence is detected.
This is an important part of the strategy's design: divergence is not simply treated as another “buy/sell signal.” Instead, it is used to recognize situations where the trend is likely to turn around - or where a trade is better avoided to wait for a clearer alignment of indicator signals.
Why Use Multiple Confirmation Layers?
Markets frequently produce misleading signals. Momentum can temporarily accelerate before reversing. A price move can continue while underlying momentum weakens. An oscillator can turn upward without producing a meaningful trend.
The philosophy behind MultiTF Bulls Power Bot is therefore to make the market satisfy multiple conditions before committing capital.
This bot can be configured to be used as a low lot size, high frequency trading bot but also a higher lot size low frequency swing trading bot.
