FAQ

A trial of a G4Trades-compatible bot may expire after a set time, lock some features or allow backtesting only. Backtest-only trials need the desktop cTrader app on Windows or Mac, and each product page states the price and the trial's limits, while paid purchases fall under the Store's money-back period.
Position sizes are rounded to each symbol's volume step, and the minimum volume can exceed what a small percentage of a modest balance would buy. Depending on its code, the bot then skips the trade or opens the minimum, and in the second case the real risk exceeds the setting.
Not automatically; the account must be on cTrader, allow algorithmic trading and offer whichever mode, hedging or netting, each bot needs. Available symbols also depend on the broker, so compare the instruments a product names with your symbol list, and ask the broker about anything unclear.
A few trades can look impressive by chance, while a large sample spread over varied market phases reveals more about how the rules behave. Read trade count alongside drawdown, test period, reviews and any live record the seller makes public, and remember none of it predicts future results.
Backtesting is a feature of the Windows and Mac apps, which replay historical data and allow parameter optimisation, sometimes from a file the seller supplies. Cloud instances started from Web or Mobile trade on current prices instead, so a demo account, where the broker provides one, is the place for forward testing.
