SnapBack Elastic uses the MESA Adaptive Moving Average (MAMA/FAMA) as a
dynamic centerline and builds elastic bands around it powered by a
directional energy accumulation model.
The bands are not fixed — they expand and contract based on how much
bullish or bearish energy has built up in the market. The wider the
displacement from center, the more compressed the spring becomes,
signaling an imminent snap-back.
KEY FEATURES
- MAMA/FAMA centerline with adaptive phase-based alpha
- Elastic bands that widen under directional pressure
- Energy accumulation model (Bull / Bear) with decay factor
- Snap-back signal engine: fires on energy peak reversal
- HL/LH liquidity filter to avoid low-quality signals
- Minimum body filter (ATR-based) for candle quality
- Snap zone visualization (ATR-based, no fixed pips)
- Candle coloring by regime and signal state
- Built-in HUD panel: energy bars, regime, net force, snap state
- All distance calculations ATR-based — works on any instrument and scale
SIGNALS
A snap-back signal fires when:
1. One side (bull or bear) has accumulated energy above threshold
2. That energy peaks and begins declining
3. Price confirms with a qualifying candle in the opposite direction
4. HL/LH and minimum body conditions are met
PANEL
The panel shows live bull and bear energy bars with a trigger threshold
marker, current market regime (TREND / TRANS / RANGE), net force
direction, and snap state (IDLE / LOAD / ACTIVE).
Designed for Gold (XAUUSD) on M1/M5 but applicable to any liquid
instrument.
