For algo trading, the practical question is whether it reduces bad decisions. A 97 setup journal on New York open makes that clearer.

For me the fair test is 1 month with 30 demo trades. If the result still looks clean, the product becomes easier to trust.

kinda useful if you already have rules. If you expect it to magically print entries, you will probably be disappointed. The concern starts when the journal stops looking stable.
