A GCI account carries the broker's own costs, such as spreads, any commission and overnight swaps, which may differ from a seller's test assumptions. Bots that trade often or hold positions for days feel the gap most, so rerun the backtest with costs set to match your account before relying on any figure.
Paid cTrader Store products come with a money-back period, and the Store's terms explain how it works, so read them before buying. Trials, which some products here offer, are a lower-commitment first look, though they may limit features, time or use to backtesting.
The order is rejected, and the bot's log records the failure, while positions already open stay exposed. If losses push the margin level down to the broker's stop-out level, positions can be closed automatically, so size bots with the broker's leverage and minimum volume in mind.
Nearly, but the bot must be obtained with the cTrader ID linked to that login, and the account must permit algorithmic trading. After installing it, you start an instance, pick the symbol and timeframe, and set parameters; the bot runs only until you stop it.
Tested drawdown, number of trades, test length and the costs assumed tell you most about how a strategy behaved. Buyer reviews and seller-published live statistics add outside views, though past figures cannot show how a bot will trade next month.
