Description

A structured trend-following cBot designed for selective DAX execution, risk control and advanced exposure management.

Apex CFX โ€“ DAX Control is a trading system specifically developed for the DAX / Germany 40 market, with a strong focus on trade quality, controlled exposure and rule-based execution.

Unlike many automated systems that rely on high trading frequency, this system follows a selective approach, entering the market only when structured and well-defined conditions are met.

The goal is not to trade more, but to trade better.

The system is designed to:

  • avoid unnecessary trades
  • reduce random market exposure
  • manage risk through configurable controls
  • support disciplined and structured trading activity
  • provide additional tools for multi-bot exposure management

Apex CFX โ€“ DAX Control analyzes market structure and identifies clear trend conditions using EMA alignment, RSI filters, ADX strength, session control, spread conditions and risk parameters.

Trades are executed only when the configured alignment and filter conditions are met, avoiding entries in unclear or low-quality market conditions.

The system does not use martingale logic, grid logic or automatic position increase after losses.

โš™๏ธ Trading Specifications

Strategy Type: Structured trend-following system
Market: DAX / Germany 40
Primary configuration: DAX M2
Execution Style: Selective, rule-based entries
Position Sizing: Fixed lots or optional risk-percentage sizing

The strategy can be tested and adapted on other timeframes, but the main configuration is designed around the DAX M2 environment.

Risk settings, lot size, leverage, spread limits, stop-loss parameters and margin settings should always be adjusted according to account size, broker conditions and personal risk tolerance.

๐Ÿ›ก๏ธ Risk & Exposure Controls

Apex CFX โ€“ DAX Control includes several configurable tools designed to help traders manage automated trading activity more precisely.

Main risk-control modules include:

  • Fixed-lot or risk-percentage sizing
  • Spread filter
  • Margin availability filter
  • Max stop-loss distance filter
  • Technical EMA-based stop-loss
  • Take profit management
  • Break-even option
  • Trailing stop option
  • Partial close option
  • Equity-based daily drawdown protection
  • Daily trading limits
  • Exposure Control across Apex CFX instances
  • Instance-specific position close logic
  • Shutdown-time close logic
  • Blackout-window entry blocking

The Daily DD Protection module can monitor daily drawdown according to different scopes:

  • This bot instance
  • Apex CFX family
  • Whole account reference

When the configured daily drawdown limit is reached, the bot can block new entries until the next UTC trading day and reset any armed setups.

If enabled, the bot can also close Apex CFX positions according to the selected scope.

Manual trades are not automatically closed by the Apex CFX protection logic.

Daily DD Protection is based on the selected daily reference mode.

In AutoReconstructed mode, the bot reconstructs the current daily result using available account and trading data, including realized net P/L and current floating P/L according to the selected scope.

If the cBot remains active after the Daily DD limit is reached, new entries remain blocked until the next UTC trading day.

If the cBot is restarted, AutoReconstructed mode recalculates the current daily state from the available data. If the reconstructed daily result is still below the configured limit, the bot continues to block new entries. If the reconstructed daily result is back above the configured limit, the bot may allow trading again according to the current state and settings.

This state-based approach is designed to remain compatible with AccessRights.None and does not require file storage or additional permissions.

ManualReferenceEquity mode is available for advanced users who prefer to define their own daily reference equity or balance level when a precise daily reference is required.

These configurable controls may be useful for traders who need to operate under strict risk-limit environments, including prop-style accounts. However, all limits must be configured according to the specific rules of each firm, broker and account. This cBot does not guarantee compliance with any prop firm rules and does not guarantee challenge success.

โฑ๏ธ Advanced Time & Blackout Management

The latest version includes more precise time-based management tools.

The bot can use two independent entry blackout windows:

  • News / US Macro Entry Blackout
  • US Open Entry Blackout

Each blackout window can be enabled or disabled separately.

When active, these windows can:

  • block new trade entries
  • reset armed setups
  • prevent pullback entries during the blackout period
  • optionally close only the position opened by the same bot instance

The News / US Macro Entry Blackout is a user-defined time filter. It does not read, import or interpret an external economic calendar automatically. The trader must manually configure the blackout start and end times according to the market events or time windows they want to avoid.

The optional blackout close logic is limited to the same symbol and the same bot label. It is not designed to close manual trades, other bots, other symbols or other Apex CFX instances with different labels.

The Shutdown Time module allows the trader to define a specific UTC time where the bot can close its own open position, independently from the normal trading-entry sessions.

๐Ÿ”— Apex CFX System

Apex CFX โ€“ DAX Control is part of the Apex Systems FX ecosystem, designed to support coordinated exposure management across multiple modules and instances.

Each Apex CFX module is designed to operate independently, but can also be used together with other Apex CFX modules across different markets.

When used together, Apex CFX systems can help:

  • coordinate exposure across multiple instruments
  • reduce operational overlap
  • limit simultaneous Apex CFX positions
  • support more controlled multi-bot activity

This allows for a more structured approach compared to using isolated systems without exposure coordination.

๐Ÿ”— Exposure Control

The previous Family Control concept has been reorganized as Exposure Control.

When enabled, Exposure Control can help manage visible exposure when running multiple Apex CFX modules or multiple instances of the same bot.

It can limit simultaneous Apex CFX positions according to the selected configuration.

This feature is designed to support a more controlled multi-bot environment. However, it should not be interpreted as a perfect guarantee against simultaneous entries from multiple instances triggered at the exact same moment.

๐Ÿ“Œ Included Presets

The system includes multiple operating configurations designed for different risk and execution profiles.

Preset examples and performance references are shown in the product images.

All presets should be reviewed and adapted by the user according to broker conditions, account size, leverage, risk tolerance and market environment.

Additional configurations may be provided through future updates.

โš™๏ธ Configuration Notes

Position Sizing:
The bot supports fixed-lot sizing and risk-percentage sizing. Risk parameters should always be adjusted according to account size, leverage, stop-loss distance and personal risk tolerance.

Stop Loss:
The stop-loss logic is based on a technical EMA reference with a configurable buffer. The Max SL Distance Filter can be used to avoid trades where the technical stop would be too wide.

Take Profit:
The bot supports fixed take profit and virtual take-profit safety logic. The virtual TP safety module is designed to help manage situations where the broker take profit is missing or removed.

Break Even:
The break-even module can be enabled separately and allows the bot to move protection once the configured profit threshold is reached.

Trailing Stop:
The trailing stop module can be enabled separately and adjusted according to the selected preset or user preference.

Partial Close:
The optional partial close module can close a percentage of the position volume once a defined profit level is reached. This can be combined independently with break-even and trailing stop settings.

Trading Sessions:
Trading windows define when the bot is allowed to search for new entries. These settings should be adapted to the traderโ€™s preferred session and broker conditions.

Blackout Windows:
News / US Macro and US Open blackout windows can block new entries during sensitive market periods selected by the user. The bot does not connect to an external news calendar; blackout times must be configured manually.

Daily DD Protection:
Daily drawdown protection can block new entries after a defined daily drawdown threshold is reached. Depending on the selected scope, the bot can monitor this bot instance, the Apex CFX family or the whole account reference.

AutoReconstructed mode recalculates the current daily state from available account and trading data. If the bot remains active after a Daily DD hit, the block remains active until the next UTC day. If the bot is restarted, the daily state is recalculated from the available data.

ManualReferenceEquity mode is available for advanced users who prefer to define their own daily reference equity or balance level.

Exposure Control:
Exposure Control can help limit overlap when running multiple Apex CFX instances or modules.

๐Ÿ†• Latest Update

This version introduces a major risk-management and execution-control update.

Main improvements include:

  • Separate News / US Macro Entry Blackout window
  • Separate US Open Entry Blackout window
  • Optional instance-specific position close at blackout start
  • Improved setup reset during blackout periods
  • Optional Partial Close module
  • Shutdown Time position-close logic
  • Daily DD Protection module
  • AutoReconstructed Daily DD reference mode
  • ManualReferenceEquity mode for advanced users
  • Configurable daily protection scope
  • Improved Exposure Control structure
  • Preserved Max SL Distance Filter
  • Preserved Virtual Take Profit safety logic

These additions are designed to provide more control over trading activity, timing, exposure and daily risk management.

๐Ÿง  Philosophy

Apex CFX โ€“ DAX Control is not designed to maximize the number of trades.

Its purpose is to maintain a balance between structured execution, controlled exposure and configurable risk management.

The objective is to follow predefined market conditions, avoid unclear setups and support a more disciplined trading process through rule-based automation.

๐Ÿ‘ค Suitable For

  • traders looking for a structured DAX / Germany 40 cBot
  • traders who prefer selective execution over high-frequency trading
  • users who understand risk management and position sizing
  • traders aiming to avoid overtrading systems
  • users running multiple Apex CFX modules or instances
  • traders who want more control over sessions, blackout periods and daily risk limits
  • traders who need configurable risk controls for strict risk-limit environments
