A solid grid bot that can trade well when conditions are right. it’s simple and easy to run, which I like. But you still need to keep an eye on it and tweak the settings from time to time

I backtested my time-based setup on gold from 2012 to now, including volatile periods, optimizing entries and risk (with stop loss). All years were profitable, even 2018. However, live results differed significantly—while real trading gave ~5–10% in one week, backtests showed 50%+. Conclusion: the backtest doesn’t reflect real performance. The strategy has long-term potential, but needs real-data testing.

Waste of money and time.Its just another grid with no potential to constantly bring profits.Whatever profit it produces will vanish in one day.All the statistics are based of one month backtest and optimization .Author suggest to optimize the cbot but this will happen after you lose any profit you produced and there you go again. Allready sits at the bottom of my trash bin.

running the EA since a few days using the January setting (non agressive version) on a live account, looks like the EA is doing is job :) 1k account , 10% return in 3 days. the grid trading works perfectly

Great algo with real performance. However you need to optimize for your risk control after understand this algo logic. Thanks for making this cbot.

Ran Maya Gold Grid ATR on XAUUSD M15 – backtest +29%, optimized +41%, live +$160 in a day. Strong gold grid bot with ATR logic, stable growth. Needs DD guardrails & presets, but looks solid for focused XAUUSD trading.

Works well, just not on the defaults - the presets fell outdated. I did optimisation and got a stable set doing 1.5 - 2% per day, as advertised. Need to run optimisation first and tune settings before going live.
