VetraGrid_OS is an open-source automated trading bot designed specifically for trading Gold (XAUUSD) on the cTrader platform. It operates on short timeframes (M1, M5, M15) using a smart grid and scalping strategy anchored to key price levels—namely the EMA50 and Donchian channel midline. The bot dynamically places a grid of buy and sell limit orders around these anchors, capturing profits as Gold naturally oscillates within its range. Filled orders are automatically replenished to maintain continuous market engagement without manual intervention.

Key features include adaptive grid spacing based on the Average True Range (ATR) to respond to market volatility, scalable order sizing, and a streamlined setup with only 13 logically grouped parameters covering trading sessions, grid configuration, order protection, and risk management. Multi-layer risk controls encompass per-trade take profit and stop loss, basket-level profit and loss limits, unrealized drawdown protection, and account-level safeguards such as daily loss limits and free margin protection. Operational controls include session filtering, trade frequency limits, and automated daily cleanup.

The open-source version provides full access to the strategy’s source code and documentation, enabling users to modify or extend the bot for custom needs or further development. This bot is optimized for plug-and-play use on Gold with pre-tuned settings for the M15 timeframe.
