 WHAT IS REVERSE MODE?

Reverse Mode is a feature that completely inverts the trading signals generated by the robot. When activated, the robot will do the opposite of what it would normally do:

• BUY SIGNAL → Executes a SELL
• SELL SIGNAL → Executes a BUY

 WHEN TO ACTIVATE REVERSE MODE

 1. INVERTED MARKET TREND

When the market is moving in the opposite direction compared to indicators:

RECOMMENDATION FOR TRADERS USING THIS STRATEGY

Even though the system is set to open a maximum of 6 positions (with the possibility of opening one additional position, up to 7 or 8, only if capital allows), it is important to understand how the strategy handles adverse market conditions.

The strategy will NOT blow your account, provided that the account is adequately funded. The minimum recommended capital is $2,000 to allow the system to ride the market smoothly, even when price moves aggressively against the positions – exactly as we have seen in recent days.

During such phases, the system will not open further new positions beyond the set limit. It will simply manage the existing basket. Even if the drawdown (DD) becomes deeper than usual, the bot will continue to work reliably and consistently.

In the end, the system will restore order, recover the drawdown, and return the portfolio to final profitability – without any loss of funds. Only profits will be realized.

In general, the conditions in which it may make sense to intervene are during high-impact macroeconomic events (such as NFP, FOMC, CPI, or FED decisions), during prolonged sideways market phases or in the presence of abnormal volatility, when the drawdown exceeds a personal comfort level, or to consolidate profits after very rapid movements in GOLD. Even before weekends or in the presence of significant geopolitical events, it may be prudent to reduce exposure.

The system is primarily used during morning sessions, when the market tends to be more orderly, but it is still essential to monitor the behavior of GOLD, which can generate sudden accelerations even in apparently calmer contexts.

That said, with the latest updates, the level of automation has been further improved. New options and parameters have been introduced that allow for more effective management. situations of high volatility, market anomalies, and changes in direction, significantly reducing the need for manual intervention.

Specifically, the recovery function allows the system to intelligently intervene by opening counter-positions when necessary, with the aim of rebalancing exposure and guiding the portfolio until a more defined trend direction is identified, helping to contain drawdown.

However, I personally prefer and recommend deactivating recovery as soon as conditions permit, so that positions can realign more quickly with the actual market trend. Subsequently, it is also advisable to deactivate auto trading, allowing the system to close trades in a controlled manner, avoiding new openings during a delicate phase.

Regarding the number of positions, it is recommended to initially maintain the default setting. However, in the presence of market changes such as those described, and only if capital allows, it is possible to increase the number of positions from 6 to 7 or 8, always carefully monitoring the movement.

In this way, the system will continue to manage the cycle by dynamically opening and closing trades, favoring the return to profit. without straying excessively from closely spaced price levels. This is particularly important in grid management, where the limited distance between positions contributes to more efficient recovery.

Once the market resumes a clear direction, the system proceeds with partial and subsequent full closures of positions, restoring operations to normal conditions.

It remains essential to apply adequate risk management and parameters consistent with available capital, considering that no automatic system can completely eliminate market risk.

Under normal conditions, however, OPTI GOLD is designed to operate completely autonomously without requiring constant monitoring.
