Description
Equal Highs and Equal Lows are one of the most talked-about liquidity concepts in trading right now — the idea that price is statistically drawn to sweep obvious double-tops and double-bottoms before reversing, because that's exactly where retail stop-losses and breakout orders cluster. Most versions of this concept only exist buried as one small feature inside large all-in-one Smart Money Concepts suites. This is a dedicated, standalone tool built around doing that one job properly.
**What it analyses:** every swing high and swing low on the chart, clustering ones that print at approximately the same level (within your tolerance) into a single liquidity pool. Each pool tracks how many times it's been tested — a level tapped three times carries more weight than one tapped once.
**How to read it:**
- **Dotted lines** are resting liquidity pools — not yet swept, still active targets.
- **Grey solid lines** mean the pool was swept (price traded through it) but didn't get a confirming reaction — likely just a clean breakout, not a reversal.
- **Gold glowing lines with a triangle marker** mean the sweep was **confirmed**: price traded through the pool and then closed back on the other side within the reaction window — the actual reversal signature liquidity-sweep traders are looking for.
- Labels show the pool type (EQH/EQL), touch count (e.g. "EQH x3"), and current status at a glance.
- A live panel shows the nearest untouched liquidity above and below current price (with pip distance) and the most recent confirmed sweep.
**Key settings:** equality tolerance (how close two highs/lows need to be to count as equal), swing sensitivity, and the reaction confirmation window (how many bars price has to close back through the level to count as a real reversal rather than a breakout).
**Typical use cases:** identifying which liquidity pool price is likely to target next; distinguishing a genuine reversal sweep from a level that just got broken and kept going; using touch count as a rough strength filter (more touches = more resting liquidity); combining confirmed sweeps with your own structure or entry model.
**Best suited for:** traders who use liquidity, Smart Money Concepts, or ICT-style price action as part of their process and want a dedicated, uncluttered read on EQH/EQL rather than one buried feature inside a 12-feature all-in-one indicator.
