If this produced around 4 percent ROI in a month with DD under 3 percent, That is closer to that a good first sign, not proof of a holy grail. The problem appears when the tool makes weak ideas look acceptable.

fits a trader who wants less noise in the process. The best use is checking stretched conditions, then leaving the final filter manual. A clean journal needs both hit rate and average R.

After H1 and M15, the useful part became clearer. RSI 30 and 70 was enough to see whether it helped, and 2 swing checks kept the test grounded. A smaller first run keeps the risk easier to read.

For oscillator setups, this feels more useful as a filter than a full system. The journal should cover 97 setups and the trade context.
