Coral uses a sophisticated 6-stage IIR (Infinite Impulse Response) filter to deliver ultra-smooth trend signals with minimal lag. The color-coded line shows you exactly when trends shift: blue for uptrends, red for downtrends, and yellow signal points at the exact reversal moment.

How It Works
Coral applies a 6-stage exponential smoothing filter to price data, then calculates the slope to detect trend direction. When the slope changes from negative to positive, a bullish reversal is signaled. When positive to negative, a bearish reversal is signaled. The discontinuous line rendering creates clean, segmented trend visualization.
Entry Strategy
- Long Entry: Red → Yellow → Blue (enter when blue line appears after yellow signal)
- Short Entry: Blue → Yellow → Red (enter when red line appears after yellow signal)
Parameters
- Price Type: Price source for calculation (default: Close)
- Period: Smoothing period (default: 34) — higher values = more smoothing
